We stayed at this hotel at the end of March last year, when the old Istanbul Airport (IST) was the international one and main airport of the City. From April 2019, the main one moved at approximately 44 kilometers. This is a very important subject to take into consideration because we choose this property because it was close to the airport. Independently of that, we have been lodged there for a night for a connection flight on the next day. The check-in process was very fast and pleasant, with very kind people at the front desk. We had a Triple Deluxe room. It was realy spacious, modern and confortable, with very good amenities. The breakfast was remarkable, incredible. There were many international and nice local ítems. I can say, for all tastes. If the airport is not a problema for you, this is a good option for your stay.…
Plus: - Professional staff and services, especially Mehmet and Hakan from reception, Gamze from cleaning, Arzu from restaurant, Ozkan from client relations but we are sure there are more of them and we couldn't catch their names :) - Client oriented people everywhere around us, from reception to cleaning personel - Very helpfull all the boys (the valets) responsable for cars and luggages - High standards facilities everywhere, on restaurants, bar, rooms, relaxing areas, except the pool zone - Excellent room, very well equiped, extremely comfortable bed - Daily water supplies - The view from our room with balcony (we noticed not all the rooms have one) - Very good Wi-FI signal (and free) - The main restaurant from hotel, excellent food, very attended personel, very pleasant conditions and atmosphere - Close to restaurants, fast foods, traditional Turkish supermarkets (fruits, meat, vegetables, other non-food traditional products). Minus: - The pool zone was at a lower standard, water was cold, the jacuzzi and some saunas were out of service, low temperature everywhere, you could feel it walking arround from one point to another - Not necessary a negative thing but it should be mentioned somewhere when clients are interested to use the pool: wearing hair protection is mandatory and it's extra charge (we paid 30 turkish lira), so it's important for client to know before…
This is not a final review, it can very well change, but I would like to warn others than my current experience with this hotel even before arriving is very negative. While inquiring about how to get to the hotel from the airport and indicating my plane would land at 7pm tomorrow, i was told that: - i would need to be at "exactly 7pm" at the shuttle meeting point, when it is obviously impossible for me to be at 7pm somewhere else when my plane land at 7pm... - the shuttles are 4 HOURS APART (the one after 7pm is at 11pm) - the alternative would be to pay more than 10 TIMES the cost of a taxi for them to arrange a "private shuttle car", which costs MORE than a one night stay in the "Deluxe room"! I am now less than 24 hours before arriving without any idea on how to get there due to the lack of any help on how to reach their hotel when they actually advertise a shuttle service. If you are interested in a hotel offering a regular shuttle service or decent private shuttle, CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL. I am still open to update this review if anything change. Let's see how this unfold .…
I would not say this hotel was a 5*. Our first night we ate in the main restaurant, the food was very bland. We did not enjoy the breakfast either, not much variety. My husband is Turkish, so we are used to Turkish food. The hotel rooms were average, the balcony, was very small, you would have to stand up, to have any views.
