Terrible smell in bathrooms, water came out of the shower. Tub in bathroom too high and small space. Dirty and smelly carpet in the rooms. I tried 2 rooms. Excellent free breakfast. Personnel was very friendly.

During winter holiday, my girlfriend and I spent three nights at Eyfel hotel in Istanbul. Beside its generally good position, this hotel has a lot more to offer. Our expectations were very low because of the low price of the hotel, but we were pleasant surprised. Hotel is definitely outdated but it is well preserved and in good condition. Our...

This is very bad and unclean hotel. Rooms are very small and they are not very clean especially the bathroom. You can feel the moisture. Breakfast is very poor and really you don't have anything to eat. The only thing because l gave two stars is because its location. It is near kapali carsi.

This place is horrific - and please see my other reviews to know that I'm not a posh traveler that requires chocolates on my pillow and Egyptian sheets. Working for an airline, I've learned to roll with the punches, and have travelled most of the world staying in hostels and budget hotels. But this place is easily one of the...

Stayed there one nite. The hotel is pretty worn out but relatively clean and relatively cheap. Did not eat there. Worst thing is the cleaning ladies which will wake you up as soon as they start the service, as the doors are thin and they are noisy. Staff not friendly.

THE GOOD: Sunbathing in Istanbul THE UGLY: Breakfast buffet made us ill This hotel felt like it has pasted hands several times with each owner leaving a distintive range of nick naks, there was a range of Turkey, naval, Christmas, French, fish and mugs with dogs on them! The receptionist wasn't particularly helpful, giving no info on the facilities or...

I stayed at the Hotel Eyfel for one night before my flight home. Needless, to say I stayed only about 8 hours before my connecting flight in the morning. To start, the room was small and it was not the single double bed I reserved online through booking.com. I believe I would have nothing negative to say but, this was...

The hotel is kind of old, and not recently renovated. The furniture in our room was very modest, I could even say very limited. But the beds were confortable and the room was clean and quite. All rooms have air-conditioning. The location is awesome, just one minute walk from the tram station Laleli. It's just a few stops from Hagia...

Staying in Grand Bazaar

Neighborhood Profile
Grand Bazaar
Tourists, hawkers, and locals come together at the Grand Bazaar to comb its labyrinthine passageways in search of a bargain – be it a pair of brand name jeans, a handcrafted silk rug, or a perfectly brewed cup of tea. Outside the vast bazaar, worn, narrow streets wind their way down from its lofty perch to the southern shore of the Golden Horn, where the evocatively aromatic Spice Bazaar beckons alongside the elegant New Mosque (opened in 1665). Nearby, the famed Galata Bridge offers pedestrian access to urban delights across the river in Istanbul’s more residential and contemporary neighborhoods, while the must-see sights of Sultanahmet are but a leisurely stroll away.
