After Istanbul noise, this is a real respite. This is an old colonial type of place. Rooms are OK. Mine was on the side, with no specific view. Be sure to request a room with a view on the sea. You'll get your wake up call at 5 am by the muezzin, but you should be used to it by...

This old style hotel enjoys a wonderful setting and views of the sea and the Asian side of Istanbul. On its terrace and the pool area, one feels miles away from a bustling city, as if strapped inside a time capsule where time stopped. One can see some parts of the hotel were refurbished, but the rooms would need a...

Merit Halki Palace is a peaceful, tasteful and pretty hotel situated on Heybeliada, one of the Princess Islands at 15 kilometers from the city. The hotel is an authentic wooden construction with a lovely swimming pool, terraces and garden. Great breakfast buffet and friendly staff.

Halki Palace is very professional in welcoming guests either families or companies. Many companies have their meetings at this hotel specially during off season. Its meeting facilities are very good. We have been staying at this hotel for many years. Our last stay was in April 2014. Its general manager Bülent Bey is a very professional person. He has great...

Located in a hill overlooking the sea with beautiful forest views the place is a hidden gem for relaxation in tranquility. Very attentive and friendly staff and walking distance to the...

We stayed there on the new years eve, attended the dinner night and the brunch buffet next morning. Very friendly staff, clean hotel, I guess it is the best alternative on the island. 2015 prices are 250 tl per day per double room including breakfast.

Arriving at this beautiful hotel on horse and carriage was a wonderful experience. Walking in was like entering a film set for an Agatha Christie movie with glittering chandeliers, fabulous furniture, parrots and then the fantastic view over the sparkling swimming pool to the Bosphorus beyond and Istanbul skyline. The room was light and airy with great views, facilities and...

Had lunch and a sunbathe here on a day trip to the Princes Islands. Lovely friendly staff with great good and good views who even made us a lovely complimentary chocolate fondant dessert! The hotel charges for the use of the pool , but prices are fairly reasonable c$15. The hotel seems quaint and retains the character of the original...

A very nice historic hotel with the charme of past times at a great location. The rooms are ok and clean but a bit aged. They don't have air conditioning which can be a problem. Service and food are mediocre. But the atmosphere and views are magnificent. Very close to green beach club. You will need to take a faeton...
