It was nice hotel with clean rooms and a very helpful staff, specially the manager (sorry forgot her name).. The walk to the Taksim square was about 5-7 minutes on un-even road, hence I recommend this hotel to solo traveller or a group of friends. Over-all a good experience.

A short walk to Taksim and transport,as well as the famous shopping mall there, this suite hotel has the potential to develop into a popular choice under a new, English-speaking front-of-house manager, Elise( possibly not the correct spelling) The rooms are good, breakfast is fair, and there is a spa/massage area, some of which is free to guests. You can...

The hotel is one of the coziest ive ever been to. We stayed for a night right after an exhausting 5 day conference in Antalya. It was the perfect ending to our tiring and amazin trip. It is a 6 min walk to taksim square, close yet far from the noisy center. The receptionist was very welcoming, gave us a...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
