Stayed here following an Intrepid program having previously been in the historical side (nearer to the tourist attractions). Firstly we loved this hotel because it was in a great funky little area (and close to shops etc) and we really loved the luxury it provided having stayed in more basic accommodation down the coast of Turkey. The bed was amazing!... More

We stayed this hotel during a city break. Conditioning, shower everything was working. Location is good. 15 TL by taxis to main attractions or 20 mins by feet. We used tram line. Breakfast was so-so. Anyway, good value for your money.

I'm an Istanbuller, so naturally I visit this hotel as a day tripper and take solace in its beautiful green backyard. Especially its café has a very historical aura. Inside is decorated with original furniture from old times of Istanbul. I guess some items were brought to Istanbul by ancient merchants. And meantime, it's a real joy to taste very... More

Faik pasha hotel was beyond our expectations. we used transfer, when we arrived at the hotel they welcomed us very kind, offered some beverages, carried our baggages. The location of the hotel was very good there were antique shops, cool bars and restaurants all around, also close to the sea and touristic places but suprisingly it was located in a quiet... More

Hotel in terms of cleanliness and staff behavior was very good. And follow environment friendly hotel staff was excellent at solving problems. The hotel is in a good location and relatively good access to hotspots in Istanbul.

Very original decoration, somewhere "Kitsch" in the good sense of the word, not for people who want a design hotel however they should try it, it might be a new and very nice experience. The hotel is very centrally located but quiet, apart from barking dogs around, sometimes a little annoying whenever I love dogs...

Although I live in the Asian side of Istanbul, I spend my time in the Beyoglu district which is the cultural hub of the city. Faik Pasha Hotel is one of my favorite points in the Çukurcuma neighborhood which I heartily reccomend to everyone with an interest and taste in antiques. Anyone who wants to learn how people were living... More

We just returned from a five day family vacation at this hotel. i was worried at some of the reviews, but was reassured when i walked into my rooms. We got very good rooms(116 and 117 on the first floor) , in a boutique hotel, about 5 mins walk from Istakal Street. the rooms were very comfortable, surprisingly large sized... More

Location is a big plus as the hotel is quite close to Taksim Square but in a very quiet and comfortable Lane. The warm and welcoming staff and hotel decor is a big plus. Penthouse upkeep needs to be looked after though.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We kept the structure of our buildings and only restored them respecting the original design when they were built in 18th Century for Italian owners, and used antique furnitures, objects and paintings of those periods. Our hotels owner is a lawyer. She has an endless passion for ancient buildings and an amateur heart for tourism, bonded with the professional staff which bring out a warm peaceful enviroment for Faik Pasha Hotels. ... more   less
