I travel every month on business, and this is by far the most impressive hotel I've ever stayed in. With only 14 rooms in a small land, the developer has recreated the hotel in an aristocratic 1930's style that exudes history and high class furnishing style. The location is also ideal for all the main historical sites. I recommend room...

The Hotel itself is beautiful. The room I stayed in was nice. I do agree with some of the other reviews about the A/C . It's basically non existent . This hotel is on a shoestring budget because they are suffering from lack of tourism. I get that they only have the fan to circulate the air and can't afford...

I have been staying at Celine for the last two years, I am there on business every 2-3 months, I could not have been more disappointed, I checked out and moved to another hotel in the middle of my stay, first of all the hotel is totally empty more often than none, for that reason, breakfast is disgusting, stale and...

Celine hotel was a truly pleasant place to stay, the staff were extremely friendly, the room was big and clean and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was ok, a bit more of fresh fruit would make it great. Can highly recommend this beautiful hotel in the heart of Istanbul.

The crew here is delightful -- they do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Very attentive staff. Even helped when the ticket sellers for Sultanhamet area attractions got nasty (wanted to pay with my credit card--real jerks about it).

Our stay at Celine Hotel was lovely. It is a charming small hotel right in the middle of Sultan Ahmet. You will have access to many of the local landmarks by foot! Bus station and metro station are also 5 minutes away on foot. The staff is very professional, welcoming and helpfull. I highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and me stayed 08 - 11 April at the Hotel Celine for our 5th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful weekend overall, and the quality of the hotel was a major part of this. Our room was a suite on the 4th floor overlooking the sea. The decor and furniture are beautiful and feel appropriately authentic for this...

I stayed here from 24th-29th March on the 4th floor. Very good location, about 5 mins walk from the Blue mosque and Haga Sophia. When I arrived at the hotel I was welcomed with a cool drink whilst the hotel manager got us acquainted with a map. I couldn't fault the room or the bathroom. Clean, air con worked, good...

Stayed 6 nights at this charming, elegant boutique hotel ( a Conde Nash Johannsen hotel) and we could not fault it on anything. It was perfect for us, two female friends. The staff were outstanding, and helped us with bookings, taxis and information in a friendly, professional and efficient way. Their restaurant recommendations were excellent. The rooms and public areas were...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
