Old building with average services but good in breakfast service and best position that near to Taksim square. The rooms are small and not luxury. Just ok for sleeping. Reception not good enough because he wants to cheat according to exchange my money.

Only the strength of this hotel is its location . Rooms very dark and old. Breakfast was good . The staff behavior was good with passengers . The hotel is within a few minutes to Taksim Square . For those who want to be close to entertainment centers and metro is good.

I wonder who has given this hotel a 4 star rating. Small rooms, dirty carpets, small breakfast with lots of recycled material . Although the staff were polite but they did not give a hoot about my wake up call. Worst of all the restaurant was so small you had to wait until 9:30 to get a table. And it...

First of all this hotel does not have a swimmimg pool or fitness facility. Second, the photo of management for the facade of the building is completely missleading and should be removed. The rooms were too used and old, the wallpapers were thorned and the bathroom tiles broken. There was three cigarette burn spots on the carpet and on the...

We spent 3 night in this hotel in July. At that time we had shortage of time to chose so we went for the most convenient cheap hotel we were offered. The hotel was quite near Taksim square, good access to transportation and city center, lively nights, wifi available with tea service. However, the hotel room was so small, a...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
