The hotel is a boutique hotel tucked away a few streets from Taksim square. The location is ideal, close to Istiklal Street and the modern part of Istanbul with loads of wonderful shops and cafes nearby. The decor is ritzy with beautiful pasabahce porcelain throughout the hotel. The rooms with balconies are the best although they are generally for smoking... More

This hotel is by far the best boutique hotel I have ever stayed at in a big city - and the value for money is undisputable. I still can't believe they don't charge more! The feeling of luxury is just fantastic, and the quietness in a large and otherwise noisy city like Istanbul is hard to beat. This hotel is... More

Pictures look quite pretty and bright. Hotel is hardly bright and fresh. Location is great. Would not recommend . I like the fact that when you get off the Havatas bus your in short walking distance to the hotel was a nice surprise. Price wise I found it competing with the major international chains. This is a turkish hotel

good things about this hotel is its location. closed to Istiklal street. staff is friendly and once can expect a nice breakfast. interior of rooms are bit messy, you have to come out of your bed to put off the lights or make a phone call or want to control air conditioning. rooms are over charged too in this category.

Well located near Taksim and close to Metro. Friendly staff although be mindful of their recommendations as they make commission out of each of them is will fall through by the guests. So ask for recommendations but make sure to do your own research too. Our room was on level 8. With a double bed. On the first day we... More

An oriental style city hotel which is very central. You can walk to Istiklal street, Şişli & Harbiye in about 15 minutes. Most of the guests are arabian. Tv menu, name of some facilities are also in arabic. Rooms and beds are comfortable and some rooms on higher floors have sea & bridge view. I would like to mention that... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
