This hotel stay was very good. The breakfast was amazing. Very large spread of food items to choose. Every day they change some items. Everyone enjoys the breakfasts. Families and friends. Staff at breakfast service are excellent. Overall good service. If any issues just call the reception and they will try best to assist. We chose this hotel because is was good prices during the peak july summer month. It also has fitness centre. We also were careful to choose room with shower alone and not bathtub. Also, the hotel was very good on booking.com chat. They answered all my questions on the chat. Perfect location near to taksim and istiklal walking street. Many nearby restaurants and supermarkets open till late night. Not boring area. Booked again for an august stay. Thank you Nippon Team. See you soon.

Nippon Hotel is a very disappointing establishment. To start with the rooms the shower has terrible stains, curtains are dirty, room smells musty. The service of the reception is pathetic and unprofessional. The reception staff laughed at me when I turned my back when I went to enquire about something I would strongly discourage staying at Nippon Hotel I am trying to post pics of the bathroom and room but it’s not uploading Staff are very rude at reception

The hotel staff are very friendly. The location is excellent, a walking distance from everything and taxis are nearby. However the walls are paper thin. We could hear every conversation outside our door, that was frustrating. All else was good. If you are a deep sleeper, don't worry about it.

We have been here for 6 nights and 7 days. The location of hotel and access to poblic transport is Ok. The cleaners and services are good. The breakfasts are fresh and includes varieties of option for normal selection. The breads are Delicious. Good and polite staffs. We will return to this hotel certainly! Thank you Mahmoud Nasrollahi From Iran

Horrible hotel , I don't recommend it to any one especially for elderly people. The room was soo small for three persons , the extra bed was for kids ! The bath tub was so high , u can easily trip and hurt yourself! Every shower was a nightmare for my mom and dad! When we spoke to the reception about this , she was very rude and unprofessional. She was implying that is what we have and we have to deal with it! I want also to warn you not to book with Al Khaleej Tourism , as they were the ones who booked the hotel and they offered no help at all ! They basically told us that they have no time to attend to each and every customer needs! Horrible services and very disrespectful!

Spent a few days here at Nippon Hotel off Taskim Square in Istanbul Very Beautiful Clean and lovely hotel and central to everything If you are landing at Istanbul Airport take the bus (Havist) from downstairs in from Arrivals it only costs about £2.50 GBP one way and takes you more or less directly to Nippon hotel (Took around 40-50mins journey) and the hotel is about 2 mins walk away from the main bus stop - Much CHEAPER than using the taxi and frequency of the bus is often. You can buy a ticket directly on the bus using debit card or at the counter. Same for the return journey back to the airport We landed at IST Airport 5am killed some time off a bit at the airport and took the first bus at 6:10am got to the hotel around 7am They did not have any rooms available for us unfortunately so we left our luggage at the hotel and just went walking around, if you are bored and have around 6 hours to kill before checking time at 2pm then suggest you go to Hafiz Mustafa across the road spend about an hour or so there eating/drinking tea snacks, then we spent another hour in the Mosque (If you are Muslim you can go in and catchup on prayers or just sit around in the main mosque for a while) to kill off some time or alternatively you can go walk around istkilal avenue (Although most places are closed that early in the morning_ or just take the TRAM to nearby areas like Sultanahmet to kill off sometime, this is what we did The hotel itself is very clean, large spacious rooms and very tidy, breakfast selection is the morning is quite good the usual hot and warm breakfast items (I have had better at other places) but its okay Hotel is about a few mins walk from main taksim squrare, plenty of food places available nearby, local supermarkets, plus you also have your usual retail high street stores further down, metro station is just around the corner (you will need to take the Metro to Kabatas then take the main blue line to get to other places like Sultanhamed, eminnou, galata tower and everything else, best to get an Istanbulkaart Hafiz Mustafa is a must visit, we were there every day more or less for tea and pudding there are around 3 branches alone nearby, then alot of street food and reasonable priced restaurants, you wont really be short of food there Lovely hotel though reasonable price and well recommended, try avoid the taxis there, they tend to rip you off, plenty of public transportation available nearby! Istiklal avenue can get very very busy in the evening, watch out for the hustlers and scammers trying to sell you knock off perfumes just walk away and ignore them One thing on checking they hotel will ask for a desposite, i am not entirely sure why though they recommend about 50 USD or so, however i did not have this sort of money with me and they were willing to accept even less ended up giving them £20 GBP as a deposit which they returned on checkout, still i am unsure why they ask for this as on checkout they did not send anyone to check out the room and everything in the room was free (Complimentary fruit and bottled water are given daily) so very strange.. Definitely recommended

İn total, i can say you will be glad at this hotel. So İ definitely propose it. The minor problem were the walls and door that were not soundproofed and they used two single mattress instead of one twin size in our bed.
