The Hotel fullfills European standards. Next to hotel is a busstation. The Hotel charges you for parking. Otherwise it is very diffucult to find a parkingplace out of the Hotel. There are a lot of shops around the hotel with closely streets. The rooms were always clean. Nice and helping personal.
Stayed there for 3 nights and it was quite a pleasant stay, the rooms were nice and spacious. The food at the restaurant was quite good and the breakfast was also rich. The service was overall quite good!
Decent sized room and facilities. Reception staff friendly. Interesting places to walk around. Only major complaint is the poor choices of vegetarian meal. Needs to be seriously looked into. Housekeeping staff helpful.
Location - This hotel seems a little removed from everything in Istanbul - but it was near where we were working. I often like to walk around the locality and there was a neighbourhood down the hill to wander into. Reception - well mannered useful multi lingual staff. Concierge usually around to help with baggage. Room - very nice / glass partition to bathroom, fresh cleaned each day, had 2 beds, wifi functional and fast. water, kettle, Nespresso machine, minibar. Fitness - Fairly good size exercise room with weights, jogging, cylcing, rowing, mates for workouts. For after - steam room, sauna and swim. Massages on appointment. Robes and slippers provided. Restaurant - in house - Azzur was very good, and the breakfast will not let you down! Staff were always welcoming Business - there are a couple of computers in the lobby for printing from USB if needed Walking out of the street - The hotel is on a main freeway. There are couple of boring sanitised shopping malls up the road (about 1km walk) with a few German and UK chain stores in them. Walking back through a maze of back streets I found many cafes, bakeries, a few mosques, general household stores etc.…
I read from another traveler about issues with her personal items disappearing from the room, so I took extra care with my belongings. I was careful to keep my items locked at all times. The day of checkout I "accidentally" left my travelling neck pillow unattended in the room. To my frustration that neck pillow disappeared when the cleaning staff went in, so by the time of my late checkout the item was not there anymore. Since I was rushing to go to the airport I didn't inform the front desk about it, considering a remote possibility I might have placed it in my suitcase. When I checked it at the airport it was not in the suitcase. Here you go... My experience at this five star hotel was tarnished by this petty and unfortunate act. The 2 stars I left are for the positive things I witnessed about the hotel. My advice is to avoid this hotel if you could.…
