We stayed for a couple of nights at Istanbul Royal hotel. We didn't like their services and the breakfast at all.We couldn't cancelled our booking otherwise we would have run away. In the same price we can get a a much better place to stay. We regret our decision.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. I appreciated the location to the main objectives. The room, although it would need renovation, was clean. The bathroom was a problem with the toilet, unresolved during the 4 days. Breakfast was ok.

This is definitely the worst hotel we've stayed in (5th time in istanbul and last because of pple in this hotel) They said it's 4 stars what a lie!! Everything in the room was very dirty (blankets, carpet...) the staff is very agressive and not helpful at all especially the receptionist who agresses us and asked us to pay for an extra day beacuse we left the room at 12:10 and menaced to keep our laggage if we don't pay. Very poor breakfast buffet (milk was cold and when we asked the waiter to bring hot milk he wasn't happy and treated us very unfriendly). To sum up, WORST hotel not 4 stars thses people are liars they will steal ur money

The Istanbul Royal Hotel is obviously quite an old hotel, but in fairness it has undergone a lot of modernisation and overall it is very good value for money. We found that it was clean and tidy and the services were very good with attentive staff, the only drawback being that only a few staff could understand English, but that was not a major problem. The breakfast was also very good, with a good selection of different types of foods and beverages. The hotel is very well located for sightseeing with bus, tram and metro services all within a very short walk. The Grand Bazar and the Blue Mosque are also very close and easily reached by bus or tram. There are also lots of shops, restaurants and cafes in the area.

The room is wayy too small and very old. Dirty showers, ac not working, door cant be locked from inside, very very poor room and need to be refurbished. It shouldn't be given to any client, it should be used as a depot. Breakfast is zero, no variety and nothing to eat at all. when you enter at the lobby, you will smell bad odors. Too bad it could be better

This is hands down the worst hotel i have ever been to. The room i booked for 3 has 2 beds and 1 small cot. Pillows are terrible. Ac is terrible. The balcony is a tiny window that u can stand on. The staff are rude. The wifi is terrible. It doesn't work in the room at all. In the lobby, it barely connects. When i complained to the staff, their reply was that i should change my hotel. I had a terrible terrible stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
