I wish I never had an open mind. This hotel was in nice words, disgusting. Not only in the worst location (small road in Taksim were the homeless literally...

The worst hotel I have been. Staff are not hospitable and breakfast was not good. At 09:50 am, you won't see any plates or cups (breakfast is from 7 to 10am). Staff will switch off the coffee machine even if you are waiting in the queue. They will switch off the light of hall even if you are eating your...

Who eats fries in the morning, no cake or croissant... the coffee machine was not working, when i asked a member of staff to...

Worst experience ever, the hotel was terrible, no hot water in the room, telephones were not working nor the WiFi , air-conditioner doesn't work and the breakfast doesn't have this big diversity. Rooms were not calm (if someone whispered in the street you could hear it). Finally, we arrived on Wednesday and told them we wanted to extend our stay...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
