I stayed four nights at this hotel in december 2015. Had a room with balcony facing the Bosphorus. Amazing view. Friendly and helpful staff, the bathroom was clean and the room had OK space. The breakfast was average, but more than enough to choose from. I will highy reccomend one of the Bosphorus view rooms. The hotel is situated 5... More

We stayed here late in September 2015. I booked early at a rate of AU$95 for a standard room but we needed to stay an extra night and as there were no standard rooms available we had to pay AU$155 for a superior room for the final night. We stayed a total of three nights. The standard room is very... More

Staff was very helpful ,very polite, make sure to take the room with bosphorus view ,worth the extra money, rooms are small but what you lose out on the size of the room makes up for the view ,breakfast was decent ,rooftop restaurant was amazing ,the entire staff gave us valuable information on what places to visit .

Stayed @ Cihangir Hotel in mid-August and it was excellent. Room was a bit small but spotlessly clean everyday. Breakfast was ample and delicious and hotel staff were always welcoming and very helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. 2 minute walk from Taksim square, so very central.

The hotel is new and modern. The rooms are clean. It has fast wifi, I was watching movies for hours and it never went off. Nice breakfast. Great location - 5 minutes from Taksim square and Istiklal street, the main street for shopping, bars and restaurants. People at reception are friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel is close to... More

I have stayed in nearly 30 hotels in Istanbul over the years and not room had a better view than this one. Also, the rooms have been recently renovated and are clean and well equipped. Within easy walking distance of Taksim and the metro.

Clean Hotel, renovated recently so things looks glossy. But it some stuff are missing, like a boiler, tea & coffee in the room, and a properly working Safe. Staff are helpful and nice, but not able top help enough, they tried to fix my safe but they couldn't (I don't blame them, they are receptionists not repair people after all).... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
