We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in September 2022. The location is excellent, about 5 minutes walk to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Arasta Bazaar. There are plenty of restaurants and places for shopping at the end of the street. The hotel itself was good: cleaning was done every day, the breakfast was great with plenty of choices: tea, coffee, juice, omelets, boiled eggs, sausages, olives, fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers), few types of cheese, salami, traditional pastry bakes, fresh fruits (watermelon, apples, strawberries, pears, grapes) and sweets. The rooms were clean but, for example our room, which was on 1st floor, was so small that there was no place for the 2nd bedside table and the window had no view facing the air-conditioning units of the other rooms. I think this room should not be charged as all the other double rooms, but as a basement room. (the pictures attached belong to my parents' room which was fine, facing the entrance to the hotel). The bathrooms need some refurbishment, because the showers were full of mould. You can also sit on the porch and drink your coffee but you need to ignore the overflowing garbage bins next to the hotel. Overall, it was good as we did not spend too much time in the rooms.

We randomly spotted Yusufpasa on booking.com not knowing the actual size and comfort of the rooms, although i can confirm that the rooms were a little tight but the stay was very enjoyable, the location was absolutely perfect it was right in the heart of sultan ahmet and had a 5 min walk from all the historical sites. A special shoutout to the front desk team and the friendliness and professionalism they provided on a 24 hour basis.

Good, clean hotel situated about 7-8 minutes uphill walk from Sultanahmet Mosque. Rooms with bathroom. very clean; hot water always available. Serviced daily. Room with TV, A/C & fridge. Bed comfortable. Breakfast very good. Staff courteous & helpful. P.S. About 100metres or less uphill from this hotel is a shop called Sultan Supermarket. Don't buy from there as the owner/seller is a thief & cheat.

That's a nice budget hotel located just 45-50 minutes from the city's new international airport. As it's in the Old Town, we managed to visit all sights we'd planned during our short stay in Istanbul. Breakfast was served in the ground-floor lounge, the food was always fresh and tasty with a lot of fruit and pastry. We were very much impressed by the cleanliness of the spotless mirrors in the zone. The staff were always very friendly and ready to help. It was a bit strange not to find a shower in the room but a traditional Turkish bowl to use instead. When we asked to teach us how to use it, we were offered a new room with a shower. We immediately agreed though it was on the first floor facing the street not the sea as the previous one. We were really grateful to the people for understanding and care. The fact that a TV set wasn't working and there wasn't even a chair in the room didn't spoil our holiday at all. Besides, there are a lot of small but lovely restaurants in the area, offering high-quality and good value food, including a fish restaurant, which is next door, Dubb Ethnic , Aura Terrace restaurant and others.

This little place is a real gem and its best feature is actually the staff, who are super friendly, available all the time, knowledgeable and helpful. They were what made this place special for me, everyone works hard but had time to stop for a chat with us any time we wanted. They had been equally helpful before we arrived as are on Whatsapp so easily accessible for any pre-arrival queries. The hotel itself is on a little cobbled street next to a fish restaurant (we only realised this on the last day - no odour!) so no wonder local cats wander around outside! The frontage is pretty with flowers and comfy seating for a late evening drink and just to watch the world go by. Inside there is a very antiquated lift up to the rooms but I used the stairs - each level has the most fabulous old full sized wall mirrors, the decor in the public areas is lovely and some antique artifacts are displayed in the breakfast room (camera, china) Our room was clean and simple with a very creaky but comfortable bed, wardrobe, dresser, safe and tv. The bathroom was traditional Turkish brass hand held shower over a marble bowl in a fully tiled room with sink and toilet, plenty of hot water, no problems - soft fluffy towels. Extra pillows when requested. Our view was into the street/rooftops and pleasant. Breakfast was delicious: as a veggie I had boiled eggs, breads, jams, fruit and cakes but cereal, yoghurt and some cooked and also cold meat was also available, tea and coffee choices (help yourself). We ate breakfast then took our coffees out to the front courtyard seating and it was hard to tear ourselves away and go sight seeing! If you stay here you will not be disappointed. Fantastic for access to the Blue Mosque and Bazaar, Basilica and more! Thank you to everyone at Yusaf Pasa Konagi for making us so welcome. By the way, we were there as a couple but a family would be comfortable too and it is definitely somewhere a solo traveller would feel at ease. They can arrange airport transfer if wanted.

Last summer I visited this hotel with my wife, this was a lovely hotel, full of history and in a perfect location to explore old Istanbul. The staff were all very friendly without being obsequious.
