Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

During our stay the hotel was under renovation and we were not informed of this in advance. We complained as soon as we arrived, but first at our last day they told us that they had another hotel and that we could move there if we wanted! There were huge amounts of dust everywhere and you couldn't go out of the room without being covered in dust. Black clothes were a disaster on this trip. The lobby and hallways were full of furniture and equipment so you could hardly make it out. Several clothes including an expensive jacket were torn at objects stuck out between the furniture in the corridors. We complained about this and asked for compensation, first after a long discussion they offered us free shuttle to the airport, which cost far less than a new jacket! No internet at the rooms only in the lobby, air condition did not work and no one supplied toilet paper and soap even though it was completely empty when they cleaned the room. The breakfast was ok, but again very low service. The staff discussed loudly across the breakfast room and it was not much fun to sit there. The hotel is cheap, and we understand we can’t expect 5 stars, but lousy service and no willingness to help is disappointing. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone!

I find this place near to sultanahmet square close to the most famous tourist place in Istanbul walking distance to blue mosque and hagia sophia also the breakfast is good. Beautiful view from top floor or the left side top rooms. Mine was the only room on the 5th floor. Its receptionist Susan is helpful , lively and a lovely person. Room was super clean. Washrooms are tidy new towels and soaps were everyday. Every thing upto the mark.

Stayed for 3 days.. you so can find better. The mocation is perfect..it's so close to the metro station. The breakfast is served on time. But the room is too small..the stuff had no trouble walking in on us...or to remember our bloody room. It's wasnt the worst stay but still...seen better.

Honestly, I would say the hotel is at top location in the city, there is a nice restaurants around and most of the interesting attractions are 5-10 minutes far by walking. And that’s it with the positive experience. We booked 2 months in advance, I would say is not much for busy city like Istanbul, but we had no reply for these two months. When we arrived they told us as far as we could understand after complaint that the room is not what we paid for, that the room has been given to someone else and we need to stay in the economy room without view and window leading to confined space with no air, not secure electricity sockets, and tbh not a very clean bed sheets... the level of English was not very good, which is not their fault I guess and we wanted to speak with a manager. Unfortunately there was no manager on duty in the next 12 hours and there was no way to contact him?!? On the next day as we arrived to meet the so call manager they said to us, he is not here and after arguing 15 minutes, it appeared that he is in the back room behind the reception with an open door?! Anyway, I will save all the details, but I would say that on the same day we find 4* hotel 15 minutes by walking from there and it was little bit cheaper. We would understand even it was for a one night to stay in a poor room and after that to transfer us due bad things happens sometimes, but the thing which repelled us was the poor customer service and the bad attitude towards us.
