The manager of the restaurant Selcuk is nice. The room is good but noisy. I cannot sleep very well. The location is good near to the Taksim Square, but it is an old hotel in that area. There are a lot of new hotels nearby.

Well we didn't get the chance to visit the hotel because my husband was sick and we couldn't travel as per the Dr's report so we tried to cancel the booking however they refused saying that it is a non refundable booking. We do understand that this may be the policy, however, sometimes humans can become subjected to instances out of their control. We even tried to request for a voucher so we can plan another visit to the hotel but to no avail! I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism with any hotel and think the management should care a bit more about their guests and their well-being and consider options that suits them as well as their guests.

We stayed at the Avantgarde hotel during our layover in Istanbul. The hotel is well situated in the city, close to shops, bars, restaurants and a square. Our room was comfy, big enough and well equipped (coffee, tea, water, cosmetic stuff, etc.). The breakfast buffet was delicious and the staff were all very kind! Special thanks to the restaurant manager Selçuk Yilmaz who took care we had everything we needed! 🙏😊

Excellent hotel near Taksim square. Rooms are very comfortable. Food is amazing with the best resto manager Selçuk and his staff.The hotel manager Salami is incredibly polite and always happy to help. I highly recommend the avantgarde taksim for your stay.❤️❤️

This is a touristy hotel with big groups checking in and out daily - so if you want something unique and quiet, this is not the place for you. It is close to shops and restaurant and especially Taksim square. The rooms are a bit small with very little space to move, but clean and modern. We checked in at 15:30 and had to wait 45 minutes for our room, because it wasn't ready. Maybe it has something to do with the high turnover?
