Very very ordinary hotel which was not safe for single ladies. In 7th floor you can easily hear what is going to happen in room 710 ,where a lady shouted and asked for help but even the receptionists did not care even after I called them. Anyway I prefer not to try this hotel anymore and never advise it

Nothing was touching. There was a problem created by stupid tour leader and hotel staff did not help at all. I will never go back there. I do not recommend staying around taksim either. It is just a crowded place not suitable for stay you can visit the place once during your visit.

I have stayed 4 days at Lares Park. The location is perfect, only 3-4 minutes walk to Metro Station. The room size was good and clean. The breakfast is very limited and almost the disadvantage of the hotel. We have stayed in room 108 level one which you think you are in middle of taksim square and its pretty noisy... More

We choose this hotel during our honeymoon trip to Istanbul in February 2013. It was a great choice!!! Nice location, very clean , near to Takssim, and especially very delicious breakfast: a wide variety of foods and dishes till a point that you need a strong WILL in order to stop eating 😁😁. We are till now talking about the... More

Good hotel with excellent location, near Taksim square, Istiklal street and just 5 minutes walking to Metro station and access almost all special places in Istanbul. Most of the staff were friendly and helping. The room was clean but don't expect special view. Breakfast was good enough.

I really loved the hotel it was excellent, clean quiet and classy, the workers were nice and lovely, the service and the food were super. I really enjoyed staying there and to mention the placement of the hotel is great it's more like in the middle, close to everything around in Istanbul.

We stayed in two rooms for 4 nights from 20 to 24 August 2016. Hotel clean, nice staff, location, breakfast and swimming pool. Photos published are show hotel real conditions. The only drawback we suffered from was the dead slow Wi-Fi in the rooms.

Place is in the heart of the city, taksim square is being seen by only 1 minutes walking. A nice restaurant is placed under the hotel which is called Portofino. Hotel is renovated and looks fresh. Price and quality is good and nice staff.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
