We lived in this beautiful hotel in October 2020. It was perfect location - just next door to Aya Sophia)) we were charmed by hospitality of Yasmak Hotel from the first step. The lobby is spacious and chic. I booked standard room but we took our six years old daughter at the last moment, and the manager on reception gave us comfortable family room with no charge. It was very pleasant to us. Room was fool of day light and very clean. And the cherry on top - the view on Aya Sophia! It was stunning! Breakfast we got on roof top restaurant of our hotel. It has amazing view on Istanbul. Service in this hotel is very helpful and quick. We will be back for sure. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone especially to my parents) Location is just perfect near (2-3 minutes walk) Aya Sophia and The Blue Mosque. A lot of good restaurants around.

My wife and I enjoyed the wonderful comforts and hospitality of this lovely hotel. We gave five stars for almost every aspect of our stay at this fantastic Hotel. It is so clean and secure, we had a free upgrade to one of the Sultan rooms which was beautiful. The Health and Safety of guests is taken very seriously and we felt very reassured. The Spa is lovely and well priced, the food in the Olive restaurant is excellent and the staff are very attentive. There are also many lovely cafes and restaurants surrounding hotel, so great for exploring. The location of the hotel is perfect for easy sightseeing, with a beautiful park right next door and the historical sights of Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet Park and The Blue Mosque five minutes walk away. A highlight for me was the five minute walk to Topkapi Palace which is stunning. From the hotel we were in easy reach of river and took boat trips and bus trips to all the other wonderful parts of Istanbul. An amazing City. I would just like to thank all staff at the Hotel Yasmak Sultan so much again for making our stay in Istanbul so magnificent and enjoyable. We will definitely be back and will certainly book into your Hotel again.

My wife and I spent 2-nights at the Hotel Yasmak Sultan, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel is perfectly located in the old city, close to many fascinating attractions, such as Haghia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and the Grand Bazaar, which are all within easy walking distance. The Gülhane tram station, which is also a short easy walk away, is very convenient to explore and visit other interesting sites and attractions in Istanbul. The hotel is also close to many restaurants and shops selling a vast selection of Turkish delight and baklava, as well as Turkish ice-cream, all of which are absolutely delicious. Our room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet, served at the rooftop Olive Anatolian Restaurant, was good with a varied selection. The restaurant also has lovely views of the Bosphorus, Haghia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. On one of the nights, my wife and I had dinner at the Olive Restaurant which was superb, particularly the sultan kebab which we can definitely recommend. Overall, we had an extremely enjoyable stay and hope to visit again.

My 86-year-old mother and I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Yasmak Sultan during our very first trip to Istanbul. The hotel was ideally situated in Sirkeci at the European side of Istanbul. As such, it was literally minutes and walking-distance away from the iconic tourist attractions, namely, the Hagia Sofia, Topkaki Palace, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Gulhane Park. The hotel was surrounded with local restaurants, souvenir shops, grocery stores, coffee shops, baklava and Turkish delight stores, and money changers. About 2 blocks away was the Gulhane tram station of the Metro Istanbul. The Grand Bazaar was just 3 tram stations away. Places of hammam and swirling dervish dance were also nearby. If one would walk a little further, the Bosporus could be reached in just 10-15 minutes. Literally, everything was within reach. Check-in and check-out were fast and efficient. We had the standard twin room. Although a bit small, the room was clean, and with comfortable beds and pillows. It had a small fridge and electric kettle. The wifi and airconditioning system were functioning well. Our window offered a glimpse of the Bosporus. The toilet and bathroom were also clean and with basic toiletries. The breakfast spread had mainly Turkish/local food but continental options were also available. The dining area, the Olive Anatolian, gave a good view of the Bosporus, Hagia Sofia and flying seagulls as it was located in the highest floor. The hotel also had a small gym, hammam and swimming pool. The hotel staff, particularly the male servers of the Olive Anatolian, were very courteous and accommodating, especially to my elderly mother. And yes, they spoke English. Because of our positive experience, we recommend this hotel to tourists visiting Istanbul, whether as a family or a solo traveler.
