We had a fantastic stay at Eresin Hotel. Staff went out of their way to help. Mr. Tekin Topaloglu, the Assistant General Manager, was wonderful! He solved all our questions and helped us beyond his duties. The human element was unbelievable: the helpfulness, the friendliness, the kindness. It made our stay perfectly enjoyable! Thank you Mr. Topaloglu, thank you Eresin Hotel!
If you want to stay in a charming boutique hotel blocks from the Blue Mosque, with excavated Hellenistic artifacts displayed throughout the lobby, and a delightful staff, this is the place! The restaurant and rooftop terrace should reopen soon. We can’t wait to get back.
We stayed at this hotel for four nights. Everything about our experience was just wonderful! When we arrived we were greeted with kindness, the manager Tekin offered us water immediately and was very helpful in sharing information about where to get lunch, where to proceed with sightseeing, and other helpful information. Every day we were given new recommendations by Tekin for places to visit, food to try, and instructions on how to get to places. All hotel staff were very kind, helpful, genuine. The room is clean, pretty, on a smaller side, but charming. This is a great hotel to stay as a couple if you are interested in touring the city, particularly the old town, Hagia Sophia is only 5 to 10 minutes away, so is the Blue Mosque. You can literally walk to all the major sightseeing areas and gorgeous mosques, the city has so much of ancient history to offer! You’re also steps away from the Bosphorus walking path, which is great. You don’t need a car to get to most places as you are right in the middle of all the happening places. Such a great experience thanks to the hotel staff, especially to Tekin and another gentleman whose name we didn’t get. I already recommended this place to my parents, hopefully they’ll get to experience Eresin’s hospitality and Istanbul’s treasures too.…
Just returned from hosting a group on an Oceania cruise and we started with three nights in the Eresin Crown Hotel. The staff was absolutely fabulous to work with and despite rain, we were able to make this a most memorable occasion. This was probably the 5th or sixth time in Istanbul at this hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough!! The staff went above and beyond!
Hotel is perfectly located for Sultanahmet area - close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and all three popular Cisterns. Great area for eating out in the evenings. Rooms are very hot and stuffy at this time of year as they don’t switch on the air conditioning, and smell of stale smoke (although no smoking now I guess it was in the past and the smell hasn’t left). But we were upgraded after two days to a suite which was lovely and much cooler. Hotel staff are exceptionally attentive and polite - as well as being upgraded, I received a birthday cake delivered to the room :) The only downside is, we were not made aware in advance that the restaurant and bar are currently closed so we couldn’t come back after a long day and just relax in the bar, and had to go out every night to eat. Don’t expect too much from breakfast! It’s not what we thought it would be - plate of cold cheeses & some slices of a type of meat, half a tomato and a very large chilli!! The pastry basket was fresh every morning however and the coffee is good - but probably wouldn’t pay in hindsight for this; better to go out for breakfast. The rooms are quite noisy at night as the hotel is on a main cobbled road with lots of restaurants and they all play music until quite late. The 2nd floor you don’t notice it, but when we were moved to the suite on the 1st floor it was loud. Pros and Cons as with every hotel. Overall, great location, clean, exceptional service and comfortable. I would recommend and would stay again if we ever go back.…
I strongly recommend Eresin SultanAhmet, as it is an excellent hotel, with comfortable and spacious rooms, with good infrastructure, very clean and adequate. In addition, the hotel is extremely well located in one of the most special and pleasant places in Istanbul. Very close to the main attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Aia Sophia, Hippodrome and Grand Baazar. Above all this, the hotel has an extraordinary team. All staff are extremely kind and attentive. The manager Tekin is a lovely person who is always willing to provide the best and most pleasant tips about sightseeing in the city. Breakfast is wonderful. If you're in doubt, don't be. Make your reservation and be very happy. I've been in Istanbul 4 times (for vacation and work) and at this hotel always I felt like an extension of my home. A nice, elegant, comfortable place, extremaly cosy where you feel at home.…
This hotel has a wonderful location 5 minutes from all the main sights - blue mosque, Aya Sofia and Topkapi Palace. The staff are especially good very professional. The hotel manager is Firat who is very professional and was such a help to us going far and beyond to make our stay memorable. Tekin was also very helpful and always happy to help us. Delicious breakfast with lovely freshly cooked omelettes and cheese and hams. A wonderful stay. I highly recommend this hotel.
My family of 5 stayed at this hotel in the end of December 2021. We were all impressed with the hospitality, cordial behavior extended by Mr. Tekin Topaloglu, Mr. Fatush (forgive me if I misspelled the name), dining staff and others at the hotel. It is a museum hotel with a rich heritage and staff does great justice to the place. The location is great for visiting historical places of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi palace etc. They served great breakfast and the staff were ready to help us with suggestions to make the most of our stay at Istanbul. Room, decor, cleanliness were excellent and there is nothing to complaint about.
We booked this FIVE star hotel for 4 days after a lot of researches. Different story after the check in. The room was clean but very dared with a stale smell. The bath was leaking and the bathrobes very old with holes in them. The breakfast was uninviting with poor selection of food. I will defiantly give this hotel a miss next time when visit Istanbul.
Me and my wife stayed here for 3 days. Our room was very clean and bed was very comfortable.Breakfast is very yummy, location is great.I also would like to thank mr.ilkay he solved some of issues we had with taxi driver.highly recommended
