Two fantastic nights at this great museum hotel. Spectacular views of the Blue Mosque from the charming rooftop patio. Perfect location close to all the most important sites. Warm, helpful and hospitable staff. Great breakfast. Superlative service. Rooms could use an upgrade but it’s still worth a stay! Our suite was huge. We will be coming back!

Hotel's Favorite
First impressions from the outside - grand and beautiful. We were met by a smiling Emir, who took our cases and we were greeted by Firat, Front of House. Firat was warm & friendly, checked us in efficiently, took the time to go through a map of the area, recommendations, walking routes, etc. We had a minor issue with the first room; we wanted twin beds; Emir & Ferat dealt with this efficiently, a new room on the first floor, issue resolved! The Hotel is located in the historic Sultanahmet district, less than a 10 min walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, The Hippodrome, etc. Ferat recommended restaurants that were within walking distance, all good. You can easily walk to the main shopping areas, Grand Bazaar & other Bazaars and good shops nearby. During the hotel's renovation, historical artefacts were found, incl roman mosaics & an ancient cistern. A book in your room explains in more detail and the museum-worthy objects throughout the Hotel. There is a terrace to enjoy excellent views of the Bosphorus, Blue Mosque, etc. It was a pleasure passing by the front desk in the day & night. Firat & Belent are helpful, & the manager Tekin, ensured we were happy. First class front of house. Thank you to the gentleman who looked after us so well in the bar & lounge. Breakfast was a continental buffet, and best of all, the warm greeting each day from Murat & Emre who were attentive. Lovely! I recommend the Hotel & will return to see our new friends in Istanbul! Thankyou

Great location in walking distance to all the main sites and reasonable buffet breakfast available. There is a great rooftop terrace with stunning views but food or drinks are not served up there, what a waste of this great space. It’s a tied hotel, certainly not 5 star and not really a boutique hotel, small rooms that have seen better days. The bathroom has a bath / shower and it’s a bit of a stretch to get up to it & quite tough for people of a certain age. The towels are thin & scratchy. There is no arconditioning except for heat so at night it gets a bit stuffy with no air flow. With only a duvet for covering it gets hot. Could open the windows but it’s very noisy from the street traffic & fighting dogs!! The wifi is very slow & inconsistent and the TV is old and the channel selection is rubbish. There are no handy power points for plugging in devises anywhere in the room which is ridiculous in this day & age. The only power points are at floor levels. The hotel staff are charming & attentive. However the hotel is overpriced even with its good location & not a particularly memorable hotel.

I was in this hotel for more than a week with my friend. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't very special either. Positive: - Staff were very friendly and kind. Thanks for everything guys. :) - Good location. At the heart of Istanbul, and very close to the most important historical attractions of the city. - Rooms have a well working safe, attached to the wardrobe. And staff were trustworthy. - The bathroom (shower, toilet, ...) were clean and worked well during our stay. - Check in and check out were both easy and fast, with no unexpected fees. - Hotel had room service everyday. Negative: - Our room was small and dark. And also cold in the first day. I think almost all hotels in Istanbul have small and uncomfortable rooms, and this wasn't an exception. - No view. Our room's view was neighbor's walls, and the restaurant view was the street. We didn't experience any sea view or anything special during our stay. - Our beds were very small, and us being big men were uncomfortable and afraid of falling down. - Room service wasn't very comprehensive. - Breakfast was limited and became repetitive very soon. I think some of the items were not fresh.

They kindly upgraded us to a suite and offered us complimentary breakfast. The staff on reception were very polite and extremely helpful. It’s very close to some key visitor attractions. Although it is a very quiet neighbourhood during the night.

We stayed 5 nights over New Year 2022/23 and had a great time. The hotel building itself is very beautiful and the interior is almost a mini museum in places with many ancient artefacts and mosaics on display which were discovered when the hotel was being built. We had a room on the first floor which was a decent size and we had no major noise issues (New Year's Eve was very noisy but can't blame anyone for that!) The location was ideal for sightseeing being no more than 10 minutes from the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sofia. Although the rooftop restaurant was closed you could still access the roof and could see the Blue Mosque from there. We also had a couple of amazing sunsets over the Bosphorus from there. The staff were incredibly helpful. Firat on the front desk recommended 3 restaurants which were all within walking distance and which were first rate. We went to one of them twice. Firat and Belent were always asking if we needed help with anything. Breakfast was a typical European buffet with better than average scrambled eggs. Murat and Emre were very attentive and couldn't help you enough. Emre in particular could spot an empty coffee cup at 100 meters. All the staff were friendly and the Manager Tekin even waved us off! My only (small) issue would be to modernise the shower heads to give a better water stream. I would have no hesitation in returning or recommending to family and friends.

Placed right next to blue mosque and hagya sofya. The staff are excellent.Tekin Topoglu( general manager) and murad went out of their way to look after us. Lovely food. Roof terrace view is out of this world. Large rooms and bathrooms. We had 2 rooms interconnected with a lounge ( family suit). Both bathrooms had Jacuzzis! Great restaurants and all forms of shops right on the doorstep. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get the most out of visiting istanbul.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. Everything about our experience was just wonderful! When we arrived we were greeted with kindness, the manager Tekin offered us water immediately and was very helpful in sharing information about where to get lunch, where to proceed with sightseeing, and other helpful information. Every day we were given new recommendations by Tekin for places to visit, food to try, and instructions on how to get to places. All hotel staff were very kind, helpful, genuine. The room is clean, pretty, on a smaller side, but charming. This is a great hotel to stay as a couple if you are interested in touring the city, particularly the old town, Hagia Sophia is only 5 to 10 minutes away, so is the Blue Mosque. You can literally walk to all the major sightseeing areas and gorgeous mosques, the city has so much of ancient history to offer! You’re also steps away from the Bosphorus walking path, which is great. You don’t need a car to get to most places as you are right in the middle of all the happening places. Such a great experience thanks to the hotel staff, especially to Tekin and another gentleman whose name we didn’t get. I already recommended this place to my parents, hopefully they’ll get to experience Eresin’s hospitality and Istanbul’s treasures too.
