This hotel is perfectly located as it is on a little lane right next to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Very good restaurants are close by as are the shops. The service is excellent and the staff are welcoming and helpful.

Nice rooms, fully equipped and clean. In a great area near to important locations. Close to public transport locations. An incredible view from the roof terrace. Friendly and helpful staff that walks the extra mile for their guests. Just go for it...

From my study of the hotel's website, I had high expectations which this fine hotel lived fully up to. A great blend of traditional architecture and décor, friendly but discreet service and modern convenience. Great value for money, too. I can think of nothing that could have been improved. I will definitely return when my travels next take me to... More

We spent two nights at this hotel. We were treated to an exceptionally high level of hospitality. The hotel was responsive to all of our needs from transfers, tourist info re local sights and directions and also is requiring a room to change in after check out to prepare for our flight. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable.... More

After six trips to Istanbul it's fair to say that I have a good base of comparison This hotel was the nicest I've stayed in and for the price is a great deal Of course I was upgraded to a deluxe room on check in so that might have influenced me😀 What I liked about it was the juxtaposition of... The location is really good, it's like a 5 mins walk from Sultanahmet tram station. And I really like the decoration of the hotel, the room, the lobby and kitchen are simply pretty and delicate, also the view from the terrace is awesome, you can see Sultanahmet Cami, Aya Sofya and the mamara sea on the top of the buliding.... Located in the heart of SultanAhmet we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay here. We were able to walk to almost all of the sights on our list and return to the hotel for relaxing sundowners with a beautiful view out from the terrace. The hotel staff were extremely informative and always willing to help and advise on trips, restaurants... More

With just 24 rooms - it feels very homey and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with the room upgrade to one with a balcony. Furnishings were tasteful and I love the fact that old tiles were kept for the common area flooring. Nice roof top terrace to enjoy the neighborhood view. Cosy reading areas and breakfast area. Good spread and... More

This is a nice little boutique hotel very close (walking distance) to all the popular attractions in Sultanahmet area. I felt very comfortable, right from the time I checked-in. In particular I would like to mention Mr. Tuncay, one of their managers - You can discuss all kinds of music with him specially the Metal :) The icing on the... More

The Ibrahim Pasha hotel is an excellent hotel. I appreciated the details of this hotel, as well as the helpful staff. It was quite hot in Istanbul when we were there in June, and it was such a relief to be able to take refuge on the rooftop terrace and catch the breezes while enjoying a refreshing drink from the... Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
