Nestled in an enviable spot, the Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus captivates guests with its stunning views and prime location, making local attractions easily accessible. Its atmosphere exudes elegance, complemented by live music and a luxurious ambiance, although there's room to enhance its charm further. The hotel's amenities, including diverse dining options, an Executive Lounge, and a well-appointed spa and gym, receive high marks.
While rooms earn praise for their cleanliness and comfort, they could benefit from better soundproofing and occasional updates. The service at Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus stands out, with staff members garnering acclaim for their professionalism and warmth. However, opinions on value are split, with some guests finding the experience worth the cost and others pointing out extra charges and room issues.

Hotel's Favorite
We had a great time visiting Istanbul and staying at the Conrad. One of the main reasons we booked is Hiltons ability to book connecting rooms. We booked a suite connecting to another bedroom as we are a family and like to be close to one another.
Service was very good, special should out goes to Night Manager Aziz Atsan who helped us with some last minute things.
The room was amazing, beautifully decorated and amazing views over the Bosphorus and all of Istanbul.
Would easily and gladly recommend to friends and family coming to town.

The first this you see as you enter the hotel is a security scanner which somewhat took me a back, but you soon get used to it as you come and go during your stay. Checking in took quite a long time and was not what we needed at 1am, but once we got to our suite we were very happy. The suite was nice, very clean and comfortable but there were a few signs of wear and tear but all in all it was fine. There were no USB ports next to the bed, only at the desk which was a bit of an annoyance as I’d forgotten to pack a plug. The housekeeping staff were great and always made sure our room was stocked with coffee and water, which we were very grateful for. Breakfast was a bit of a scrum but there was a vast variety of food on offer to suit all pallets. The executive club was disappointing, no gin, no fizz and we could only ever seem to get chips and nuts, no food, the service however was good.

In the beginning of 2020 me and my girlfriend spontaneously decided to go on a trip to Istanbul. While searching for a hotel we found several Hilton ones. Then we decided to go on their website. The good and friendly people from the web live chat helped us make our stay more comfortable and with all our preferences. They even took us a guide for becoming Hilton Honors members. The good things has just started to happen. We arrived in Istanbul by a car. It was very easy to find the hotel, a bit of traffic, but that is what the city is famous about. The first impression is one of the most important when you want to evaluate or make a review of something. So we parked our car in front of the hotel and the kindest doorman opened our doors and got our car keys to park the car. His name is Bülrut. He always welcomed us when coming from somewhere or greeted us when going somewhere. He always opened the doors of the taxis so we can go in and told the driver to be careful and to make sure he leaves us at the place we want. Overall, fir the hotel stuff I have no words to explain how friendly and helpful they were. We stayed on the 15th floor with a glamorous view of the city and a very nice room which was cleaned every morning, not only cleaned but also arranged our clothes and shoes. The spa was nice, the breakfast was perfect. Everything was very nice and we will surely come again in this hotel when visiting Istanbul. I strongly recommend Conrad.

Myself and my husband stayed at the Conrad for 7 days over Christmas.
We had to change room because the wardrobe was tiny and impossible to fit luggage for 2 people for a week, they quickly found us a room with a larger one on the same floor.
On the 2nd day we still had no turn down service that comes with executive rooms.
The lounge was limited to between 3pm and 9pm with food and drinks between 6 and 8pm, breakfast was served in the main breakfast room and was restricted and plentiful, however it wasn’t What we paid for, we expected a restricted area for Executive members only as we paid extra for it but, for some reason they thought it would be safer to put us in a room with at least a hundred other people in the middle of a pandemic with no proper safe social distancing nor table service, Qs for an omelet would take up to 10 minutes...
We asked if you could have breakfast in the room to avoid the crowd and they said we would have to pay fo breakfast again, at the room service prices, how disappointing!
Utku and Serkan who served us every evening in the lounge are delightful and did everything to make us feel welcome, keep up the good work guys.
Day 3 still no turn down,
We called day 4 to see what was going on and we went to the lounge and returned around 8 to find our room upside down with late cleaning and turndown combined, we waited and also helped make the bed while we waited, The relaxing service was wasted.
The next day again no service and the last night we insisted on it properly, they apologised by sending a €5 bottle of wine to our room, I got a pen and wrote a €5 sign on the bottle and sent it back.
I haven’t time to even go into the TV series they were shooting in the lobby for days with crowds of crew with no social distance whatsoever.
Such a shambles for a Conrad and not what we are used to for Conrad

Dear TripMember01042016, Thank you very much for choosing Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus and sharing your recent experience with us. At the outset, I would like to thank you for your kind comments regarding our Executive Lounge and team members Utku and Serkan. Rest assured that I passed your review to them personally. On the other hand, I was extremely sorry to read about your disappointment regarding turn down service in your room and social distance arrangements in public areas during your stay. I am sorry that we were not able to meet your expectations during your stay. Our room sizes are as stated in all online channels and if they wish, we have various bigger room and suite categories to book for our esteemed guests. I kindly would like to inform you that we have strict restrictions for our food and beverage serving style in order to protect our valuable guests and team members. Thus, we have our own cleaning system Hilton Clean Stay. From social distancing, increased scheduled cleaning of public spaces, and changes to our amenities and services, we are committed to protecting your wellbeing while using our public spaces. In this context, we only provide our famous in room turn down service upon request since the beginning of the pandemic in order to reduce contact. In addition, I would like to inform you that we do have table service at the restaurant and our team members would have been very happy to assist you when asked. I sincerely hope that you give us another chance and be our guest again. We are looking forward to welcome you back soon. Kind regards, Andreas Jersabeck General Manager

We stayed at this Hotel from 30.12.-03.01. in the Executive Room (Bosphorus View) and really enjoyed it. The staff is very well trained and service-oriented, especially Mehmet from the Monet Bar / Lobby. I recommend you to book the Room with Executive Lounge access as the food selection changes daily and it is a really fun experience to try the culinary variety from 18:00-20:00 and to spend time here! The women at the breakfast section were so friendly, one of them even remembered our name and was trying to help and serve us as much as she could. The quality of the food is excellent, great breakfast selection and menu in general. I can highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are looking for a place with high standards and orientation towards customer satisfaction. Yavuz from the reception was also a really good receptionist, he gave us many informations and recommendations where to go and what to do.
The location of the hotel close to Besiktas ciry centre is perfect too. It is also noticeable how clean and hygienic the hotel is. A big thank you to the cleaning team! The hygiene regulations to confine the pandemic are adhered to even under the strictest conditions! Thanks a lot again! We are definitely going to visit again.

The Conrad is an opulent 5 star hotel with one of Istanbul’s most prime locations overlooking the Bosporus. As you step through the revolving doors you enter a world of beautiful views, marble interiors, highly attentive service and first class amenities.
Location
The Conrad is located in the buzzing suburb of Besikas which is about 5km East of Galata which is the centre of the city. Its location is a double edged sword – some of the best views in the whole of Istanbul can be had from this hotel, however its also quite a distance to get to the main sights due to the omnipresent horrendous traffic jams which blight the whole city. Traffic crawls, snaking its way around the various districts and meaning that a simple taxi ride to Sultanahmet could take up to an hour. Besiktas is however on the ferry routes which makes for a scenic and quick way to get around – we quickly realised that walking the 10 minutes down to the ferry was the best option for getting around. There are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants around the hotel in Besiktas. In particular I recommend trying the pedestrianised area around the Carsisi which was absolutely rocking on a Saturday night.
Food/Drink
Breakfast was a great spread of all types of cuisines– with a heathy corner for muesli and every type of nut/seed imaginable, cooked breakfast, rice/curry/main dishes, pastries, cakes freshly made smoothies and even Turkish delight! The restaurant has a beautiful view of the Bosporus as well.
The star of the show though is the Summit Bar and restaurant on the 14th floor. The views will take your breathe away, get there early for a good sunset seat! The food is also fantastic and reasonably priced for a restaurant with the best views in the whole city!
Service
The service is truly 5*, nothing is too much trouble and the staff members are impeccable. They will go out of their way to make your stay special.
Rooms
We were upgrade to a Bosphorus view room on the 15th floor which as the title denotes had a fantastic view and was very gratefully received. The rooms are fairly compact but have high quality fittings and amenities and super comfy beds. The bathroom was large was a rain shower, full bath and luxurious marble finish. The rooms are totally sound proofed so very quiet.
Facilities
there is an indoor and outdoor pool and whirlpool. The outdoor pool is large and has a lovely sundeck area with plenty of sunbeds and a pool bar service. The spa is very luxurious and the treatments I had were first class though I would say very very expensive!

We took three rooms here for the second part of of our trip to Istanbul. Excellent security regime in place as well as strict Covid-19 protocols which were very reassuring. The hotel had housed healthcare workers during the height of the pandemic and had recently reopened. Only half the rooms were in service and the hotel was very quiet compared to non-covid times.
On arrival we were told that we were being upgraded to better rooms. I was suspicious and stated that we would be agreeable so long as the rooms still had the views we had chosen the hotel for.
We were in fact taken to three rooms at the back of the hotel with just awful views of a gravelled garden and facing other bedroom windows; maybe a slight glimpse of the Bosphorus. Totally unacceptable. After much toing and froing we were finally given the rooms that we had specifically chosen the Conrad for. Don't fall for the "upgrade" trick. Get the views that this hotel is famous for. It may well be that the rooms at the rear of the hotel (Park View and some of the Bosphorus View) are actually slightly bigger than the City View rooms and so count as an "upgrade" so it is well worth clarifying this.
Try to get a room facing South-West so that you can see The Maidens Tower, Seraglio Point, Hagia Sophia and Dolmabache. There really is no point in staying at this hotel if all you can see is some gravel and the windows of other hotel rooms.
When we finally got the proper rooms (at no extra cost) the stay was excellent despite the queues and reduced service at breakfast (due to Covid).
Covid restrictions also meant that you had to book a slot for the swimming pool but we never had a problem getting a slot.
Swimming pool staff probably need some lessons in accepting bukinis and rash vests but after we explained mitigation measures to reduce skin cancer risks, they were welcoming.
The ferry terminal (to get to Eminönü and Üsküdar) is 10 mins walk away. The Taxis are actually quite reasonable if you need to get into Taksim, etc. There are shops and restaurants near the ferry terminal also.

Dear CheshireDoc_12, Thank you very much for choosing Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus. I am very happy to see that you enjoyed your stay with us. Please accept our apologies about the confusion about your room upgrade. Our team members were merrily trying to upgrade you to a higher category only to found out that higher category room was actually not up to your taste. I am happy that this was solved promptly and you liked your original rooms. In the meantime, just as an iformation we kept our doors open during pandemic restrictions and served our esteemed guests with pleasure. As you rightly pointed out, booking spaces are related to Controlled Normalization Process rules and guidelines. Health and wellbeing of our customer and team members especially in times like this remains one of our top priorities. Looking forward to welcome you back soon. Kind regards, Andreas Jersabeck General Manager

We had an amazing suite with stunning views of the Bhosphorus . All the staff we encountered from the concierge to the restaurant staff were polite, friendly and alway smiling .
The executive lounge was very modern in decor with a huge wrap around terrace with lovely views . The food and drink choices were good and varied . Hirzircan was very attentive Toni’s in the lounge and was always on hand to give us “insider” tips on Istanbul .
This hotel has excellent covid health measures in place , which was very reassuring . Rooms were cleaned to perfection, towels came wrapped in plastic, hand sanitiser stations all over the hotel lobby area.
We were very fortunate with the weather in November and enjoyed breakfast on the terrace in the lounge everyday .

I absolutely love this hotel bedroom. We stayed in three 5 star hotels in Istanbul and Conrad was my absolute favourite. It was an excellent few nights stay. We were kindly upgraded to a partial ocean view room and enjoyed seeing the ocean every morning. The mattress, pillows and duvet were extremely comfortable and fluffy. However, the length of the mattress was short considering that we are not even very tall people, my husband’s feet were out of the end of the mattress when he slept. The modernity and cleanliness of the room made up for it and we did not complain.
The bathroom was also very clean and amenities were frm Shanghai Tang. There was a waterfall feature for the shower as well. It was good. The bathroom had cigarette smell even when it was a non-smoking room. The toilet had to be flushed twice for proper flushing.
Aircon and wifi were excellent.
Breakfast was amazing. The breakfast room gets crowded, so either come really early or super late to get a seat near the windows for the beautiful Bosphorus view while having breakfast.
Staffs’ attitudes really depends on their own personality. Most of them were polite and well-mannered. Hence we were able to overlook the rude ones.
If we ever travel in Istanbul again, we will stay at the Conrad. Hopefully by then, they would have fixed the toilet bowl issues and the length of mattresses.

The location of this hotel is a bit misplaced, it’s near Beşiktaş port but a bit of a hike up the hill. Easy to get taxis to get around anyway.
Beautiful Conrad style doesn’t disappoint. Nice spacious rooms with everything you need although no bath as standard.
Beautiful spa area which was very enjoyable.
Great breakfast selection but restaurant very crowded in the morning. There are often good value deals for this hotel in off season and it’s worth it for a bit of luxury at good value.
