We went to Istanbul for the first time and absolutely loved our stay at the Ciragan Palace Kempinski. Excellent service. The hotel set us up with our private tour guide for Istanbul. His name is Ilker, the Istanbul specialist. He was absolutely amazing. Definitely 5 stars plus for our stay at this hotel and our tour guide.
Having stayed at the Ciragan Kempinski Istanbul many times, it felt like home to return. But each time I notice more acutely what makes it feel like home—except more luxurious. Even before arrival, Mr Cagri, the super reservations manager, was extremely helpful via email in reserving the nicest room at the best price. Upon arrival I was met by the friendly and professional reception team. Special shout out to Nedim, who is always helpful in selecting the right room, making sure that everything is good. Efe at the reception was super helpful throughout my stay. The concierge team is amazing: Baris, Sinan, Ugur and Onder. Always super helpful with restaurant recommendations, advice sights in Istanbul, etc. etc. Because of Covid, I ate outside less and took advantage of room service a lot more. And so I must say that room service in this hotel is excellent—restaurant quality food that is delivered promptly. (I’ve experienced less at other hotels—even otherwise good ones.) Special shout out to the room service team: Umite, Cam, Tekkin, who always got the order right and delivered it within the time promised. Used the hotel spa a lot—including the gym, indoor pool and sauna / steam room. The spa team were great. I dealt mostly with Deniz, Faruq and Fadi who always made sure I had everything I needed (towels, refreshments, etc). The restaurants at Ciragan Palace are all first rate! You begin with a fabulous buffet breakfast with any sort of breakfast food you could want: eggs, various breads, fruits, vegetables, cheeses, even fish and hot dishes. Mr Ayhan at the breakfast was always so helpful getting us seated and cared for by the waiter staff. All day dining at the Gazebo is anything but routine: it consists of expertly crafted and original dishes, as well as Turkish classics. Speaking of which, Tugra restaurant in the Palace Section offers a super elegant rendition of traditional Turkish cuisine. Actually ate there with my partner for the special New Year dinner. What a lovely way to begin the new year! After dinner, actually soon after midnight, we switched over to Le Fumoir cigar bar, which was super lively. At Le Fumoir, Hussein and Gokhan were terrific in getting us seated and finding the best cigars and whiskey. During our stay we also tried the new Italian restaurant Bellini, which was superb. Like Tugra, it’s in the Palace section and has lovely views of the Bosporus river. Our room at Cirgan Kempinski was amazing. A one-bedroom suite with a Bosporus view. Very spacious and comfortable. It was a pleasure to sit at the balcony and enjoy the air, the view, etc. The room was cleaned at least twice a day, more if needed. The cleaning staff was always prompt and thorough, which made our stay truly pleasant. One last thing should be said. The personnel at Ciragan Kempinski are all superb, from top to bottom. There’s ALWAYS someone there to help you, reception, concierge, wait staff, housecleaning staff, spa staff, etc. They are always courteous and professional. Ciragan Kempinski is a wonderful place to stay when you are in Istanbul, whether for work or leisure. It is not inexpensive; but it is well worth the cost to enjoy the true feeling of home away from home—only much more luxurious!…
This hotel meets all your requirements and more. Yes a little more e pensive but definitely match the service. Breakfast was excellent. The welcome was friendly. They assured with private transfers for transport. They can also sway with excursions
This is simply not a "luxury" spa as it advertises itself and which the prices reflect. The waiting area has as much ambiance as a doctor's waiting room, with a total lack of decor, loud noises from the gym, and a tacky looking rack of stuff like goggles and diapers for parents to buy their kids to use the pool. Before my treatment, I was given a "luxurious" water in a paper cup before I was taken to a "luxurious" changing area, which the spa shares with the hotel pool. The changing area has absolutely none of the amenities that you would expect from a so-called luxury spa, such as lotion, dry floors, or an absence of loud children. The robes are worn down instead of being fluffy, since those too are shared with hotel guests and have evidently been washed tons of times. While the hammam treatment room is nice, the photos on the website (under "gallery") are downright false advertising. Those photos are from a completely different part of the hotel that have nothing to do with the spa and are used for events. After my treatment I was asked if I would like tea by the pool. Unlike actual luxury spas, where the area for relaxing after treatment is for spa guests, this is just a regular hotel pool filled with screaming kids and is not even remotely relaxing. All of that being said, the woman who performed my treatment was very sweet and attentive.…
Very classic and upscale hotel in a top location with the plus of a fantastic pool very enjoyable during the summer. Excellent breakfast as well as the Tugra restaurant, only the food in the Bosphorus Grill hasn't been up to our expectation. Overall highly reccomended.
The best service ever, including food/ drinks. You receive it from the kindest staff, thanks to Mr.Bora for all his excellent service. Moreover, the hotel has one of the best views worldwide, with quality service and especially the outdoor swimming pool
My parents and I spent a week in this truly magnificent hotel and enjoyed our stay immenselly! All our wishes were fulfilled at check in, we were allocated in two beautifully appointed bosphorus view rooms, tranquil and next to each other, so convenient for families. Hotel's facilities are great, we spent every day at beautiful pool, and in the evening, we had dinner either in Bosphorus grill or in Tugra or Bellini restaurants in Palace wing which are all highly recommended! Hotel staff are all so sweet, cordial and helpful that you feel truly pampered and relaxed during your whole stay. That reffers to literally everybody who is working in this wonderful gem, from doormens, to reception, breakfast and pool staff, housekeeping, concierges that provided us with some great restaurants recommendations. This was our second stay but certainly not the last one, as we will definitely be back, and recommend this teriffic place to all our friends and travel agency. Family Kulauzov, Serbia…
5 Super hotel with one of the best services I have experienced Breakfast was superb The staff always new my name and were always on the ball and helpful The rooms and suites first class A world class hotel matching 5 star hotels anywhere in the world
Yesterday evening my wife and I had dinner at the hotel's Tugra restaurant. We both ordered the Lamb Shank and we both found the food to be exceptionally delicious and tasty. We congratulated Chef Emre and Waiter Cengiz for a truly lovely evening. We would most definitely recommend.
Nice property but unfortunately there is a renovation taking place with loud hammering and drilling from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm all day. Complained to front desk people and only got an “I’m sorry” as an answer. They should have warned us or found a better room far away from the noise at the time we checked in.
