We booked this hotel well in advance, and even emailed to confirm our reservation. Even so, upon our arrival we were received with the information that there had been some misunderstanding and they had been double-booked, but not to worry, he had a friend that had spare rooms at his hotel nearby. We were far from satisfied with that information,... More

This hotel has one positive thing: good location. It is in max 15 minutes walk from center of old town. Negativ list is pretty intimidating: - finding this place is like playing an adventure game, we have passed it at least two times. There is no sign on door or on building. - bed was full of hair, even pubic... More

the price was really nice. the location was great near the Ayasofia Kucuk, the hotel is a bit hard to find and the rooms are a bit small but for the price it's really nice. we'll be there again. staff was really friendly and helped us getting around. the neighborhood is old and interesting.

Perfect place to stay. Management is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Excellent service, good location, 2 min walk to the beach, close to tram station, close to Blue Mosque and Grand Bazzar. The room was specious and clean, bad comfortable. The area is safe and hotel is located in a very friendly neighbourhood.

This Hotel cannot be called so, it is much more like a hostel. The room was extremely small, bathroom had no shower curtain and the staff was always smoking inside, spreading a horrible smell. Overpriced for the services offered.

We started looking for a place to stay in Istanbul a bit late, just 2 weeks or so before our arrival there, and we found this hostel to fit our budget with some difficulty (50 Eur/night/double). LOCATION Quiet area mainly with houses and 2 storey buildings, 15 min walk from tram station, around 30 min walk to Blue Mosque (if... More

We ended up at the Rozin Hotel by accident when the hotel we had booked through booking.com turned us away (another story...see my review of Indo Hotel). The room was cozy and breakfast was good and varied. The staff was extremely helpful. There was only vacancy for two of the three nights we were staying in Istanbul, and although the... More

We stayd 3 nights at this hotel, first of all it's hard to find and if it wasn't for the old woman, their neighbour which was chilling in the window next door, we would not have found it so quick. We stayd on top floor in a terrible room, no window, no AC, no heat/owen and in the bathroom it... More

We found this Hotel by chance on Bookings.com and I must say we struck gold; It was inexpensive, very clean and warm; Wi-Fi, TV, hairdryers, you name it they have it; Run by two wonderful brothers and supported by their family members that somehow transforms the hotel into your home from home; For us English was spoken and understood and... Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
