We visited muyan suites hotel at february 25 to 28 three days ..we came from iran and me and my family really like this hotel.we feel like we are home.. So thanks for all you workers and owners of muyan suites hotel ..i hope , i will visit you again...
We stayed at muyan suits from 19-22 feb 2021. The location is amazing just a few mins walk to hagis sophia ,blue mosque and topkapi palace. The building is small but they offer excellent hospitality. Highly recommended. The only back draw is the small lift.
I had chosen Muyan Suites due to it's great location (basically a 10 minute or less walk to all of the major attractions in Istanbul), but also because of its close proximity to the doctor's office in which I had opted to travel to Turkey for in the first place. You see, I was getting a lasik procedure done, and the price in Turkey was exponentially more reasonable than the States. Now, as a visitor in a new country, you can tend to feel out of place at times to say the least, but this not-so-little fact was attended to at the greatest level of detail by the employees of Muyan Suites, and they are the overarching reason for this gracious review. They truly did make my stay, not only in their lovely hotel, but also in their country, a seamless and pleasant experience overall. From my jet-lagged arrival late in the night, in which the night manager, Hamza, catered to with extreme graciousness. It was almost like scene from a movie when I first arrived as a matter of fact, as he escorted me to the one-person-elevator and sent me up to the fourth floor to my room telling me, "I will meet you up there!". I was a bit puzzled, but my confusion quickly turned to laughter when my elevator opened on the fourth floor to Hamza again greeting me. He had ran up four flights of stairs in the time it took the elevator to travel up, and hilariously acted like nothing out of the ordinary had happened. It was a lovely gag and gave me a good laugh. The other employee who truly stole my heart, the self-described "jack-off-all-trades" of Muyan Suites, a kind and gentle man named Oktay, truly did go above and beyond my expectations and I simply cannot complete this review without mentioning him. Greeting me outside my room every morning, this kind man would NOT let me go outside without a jacket, going as far as to give me the clothes off his back so that I would not be uncomfortable in the chilly weather outside. You see, I had not planned well for the snowy weather in Istanbul, so Oktay coming in to help the way he did really was an unexpected blessing. Fast forward a bit to my return after my lasik procedure , and a simple question of where a nearby pharmacy would be to Hamza and Oktay resulted in Oktay traveling on foot, in the snow, on a Sunday (when most everything is closed in Istanbul), in the middle of a pandemic,.. you get the point.. to find an open pharmacy in order to locate and attain my medicine for me. I was simply at a loss for words. He even told my to go up to my room and relax, and would not take no for an answer, and not to mention had food prepared for me and sent it up to my room somehow during this entire process. It was almost unreal. I had also been invited to a wonderful lunch with Oktay and the owner of Muyan Suites at a later point in my trip which was a very memorable experience. The housekeeping was also wonderful and I feel the need to mention how meticulous the kind young woman whose sole job it was to cater to the rooms, though I did not catch her name. At the end of the day, I will remember most of all the people of Muyan Suites as the shining experience of my trip, and will certainly be looking forward to my next stay with them shall I ever return to Istanbul.…
Staying for almost 2 weeks, Muyan Suites exposes its strength as small hotel yet feel-like-home. All staffs were very friendly and helpful. Hamzah the frontliner always greet with smiles. So do Oktay, the restaurant manager. Muyan Suites must retent Oktay at the position. Both of them can speak various languages. The location was just great. It's just a walking distance to Sultanahmet Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Cemberlitas, Grand Bazaar. It's easy to reach by airport bus and tram. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent, Turkish authentic, especially with the Turkish tea and coffee. View of Marmara Sea from the restaurant was amazing. Hopefully back to stay there during Istanbul visit in the future. Warm regards from Tim & Lena, Indonesia.
