Stayed there for one night. Great location, close to amenities and short walk to the airport shuttle bus service. Breakfast was horrible and room was too cold. Heaters not functioning. As such, we were freezing in the room. They could have resolved by asking us to move to another room as the hotel was almost empty but they didn't. Much... More

This hotel is just located in Taksim and it is very close to metro station. It is convenient to have some meal or drink in the whole day. Staffs are good and friendly. WiFi is good and the signal is stable. However, the breakfast is normal compare to other hotels with same price level.

After arriving in Istanbul near Taksim Square at around 7.00pm it started sleeting so after looking as for a room at this hotel for one night. What a reap off; 100TL for a very small room; no towel, soap, no windows. The corridoors were very noisy during the whole night. The whole area around the corridoors and staircases had cigarette... For first time visitors this is not the neighborhood to stay, Sultanahmet or lower Galata is much better. But if you want the night life and all the associated distractions like noise till 3 a.m. you can't do a lot better than this for value. Getting to the old mosques, bazaar and old city area is a pain from here,... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
