It may be one of the best hotel stay experiences in Istanbul. Location is superb, the scenery, the comfortable rooms, the staff (Metin, the staff with the curly hair is awesome), breakfast at the House Café are unique. The decoration of the suites are one of a kind. Bathroom amenities, and bed linens are high quality. I loved it.

We recently stayed in this hotel. It was fantastic. The situation, rooms and staff were amazing. The conversion from old house to uber cool hotel has been so sympathetically achieved. The food was great in the restaurants and the staff did everything to make our stay (which was to celebrate a significant birthday) memorable. We can't wait to return for...

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the House Hotel Bosphorus. The hotel is in a beautiful building dating back more than 100 years. Our suit had a magnificent view of the Bosphorus and was very nicely decorated. The offet buffet breakfast was quite tasty.

Historical Simon kalfa building at Ortakoy was transformed into House hotel couple of years ago. This is a nice 4 star hotel, with limited number if rooms. We stayed in a 32m2 deluxe suite with two balconies and wonderful bosphorus view. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast was good too. One of the Top 3 charming hidden corners in Istanbul. Breakfast in the room overlooking the Bosphorus, Ortaköy Camii and the Martyrs Bridge is priceless. Warm rooms, tastely decorated, in a beautifully refurbished building, that includes the best ambient at Café Lounge to enjoy the evenings.

Absolutely great, beautiful, very well and comfortably positioned hotel. The staff is super friendly, room is just beautiful, view from the window - superb. Breakfast could be better, but I joined only once for the first 10 mins when food was still being prepared, can't judge. All in all - great, recommended

Staying in Sisli

Neighborhood Profile
Sisli
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
