This was now our fourth stay at the Sarnic Premier Hotel in Istanbul. We have recently stayed in April and once again yet August. Every trip to Istanbul we have chosen to stay at Sarnic due to its excellent location and its very kind and experienced staff, especially hotel manager Tarik and restaurant manager Ergun. The hotel has recently undergone... More

This hotel was amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food provided was very delicious. Will definitely recommend as its excellent value for money. The rooms were small but very comfortable and the outside cafe provided a superb view off the Blue Mosque. Will be coming back. :)

Great location close to 4 of the most important monuments...Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia,Topkapi and the Basilica Cistern. Nice rooms, good breakfast and very helpful staff. The rooms on the higher floor have an interesting view of the Blue Mosque. This is my 3rd stay and I will surely return here on my next visit as well. Thank you Tarik for... More

We stayed here on a 3 day stop over trip and wanted something in the city centre so that no time was wasted in travelling. Rooms were clean but could have been spacious but the shower in the bathroom made it up for it as it was the best you could ask for. They served a wide spread of breakfast... More

The Sarnic Premier Hotel was just wonderful. The staff were so hard working and friendly. The room was far better than we'd expected for the money we'd paid. The location could not have been better - just behind the Blue Mosque, although beware the call to prayer at 5.30 am!! The breakfast buffet was great. Best of all, though, was... More

I came to Sarnic during the end of their reconstruction project in the middle of March ( almost finished in next 2 weeks). They upgraded my paid room. Took care of me and when I left I felt like a member of the family not a guest. The room was more than adequate for my stay. Great view of the... More

Its nice and clean. We have had a comfortable stay. Staff are good. Restroom is small luckily they have given us one queen and single beds which we really like it for us to have space to sleep. We stayed there for four days, the food that they have in breakfast are so simple. I just really miss the noodles,... More

We had a mixed experience of this hotel. The room did not match the photos online, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. Our room was quite noisy and we could hear other guests through the walls and in the hallway. We were without hot water for our first day and unfortunately were not given a very good response,... I visited Istanbul twice and both the times stayed at the Sarnic Premier hotel. The best part of the hotel is its location. It is at a walk away distance from Hagia Sophia, Marmara Sea, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern. You can catch train easily for Galata tower, grand bazaar etc. Staff is very supportive, eye asked for early... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
