The room and hotel was as pictured and lived up to the expectation in nature . Very clean and aesthetic. Most importantly, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Customer service was great! I would stay again soon!
Holy wow!!! We were at Casalavanda on July 24 . Everything was phenomenal! It is in a village about one hour from Istanbul city and really perfect for a getaway. The rooms are well appointed, clean, and very comfortable . Everywhere smells like lavender garden which is great. They used all natural materials ,renewable sources like wood and stone. We had a Lovely dinner on the back deck with a view of the pure nature. Our waitress was attentive and nice. Restaurant menu was pretty rich with very delicious kind Medeterenian food. The tagliolini was yummy! As was steak and homemade mustard, grill vegetables . Special thanks to Emre Chef. We got to sit and relax with no rushing . I like seeing people enjoying their day. there is plenty of space where you can relax. You will definitely be recommended by us to any of my mates. Thank you all!…
We stayed a Friday night at this hotel with my husband to get away from the brouhaha of the city and it was a great choice. We were there on a winter day and the hotel (which has only 14 rooms anyway) was not crowded at all as it's best in spring and summer with its large gardens and outdoor swimming pool. We went to spa and had massage. The spa was nice, with large windows looking into the gardens but only the part we were was heated, other parts of the spa were extremely cold. Though at the check-in we had stated we would be using the sauna, when we went to the spa, we saw that it was not heated but that wasn't a big problem for us, we enjoyed our massage anyway. I recommend to make a reservation for the massage before arriving to the hotel as there are only 2 massage therapists and you might not find a vacancy in the schedule during crowded days. The hotel seems to be a great spot for company meetings to as there are 3 meeting rooms accommodating different groups sizes. The rooms are named after the trees and we stayed in room called "kayın" (beech tree). The rooms are nice, decoration is rustic, the bathroom well equipped. The only problem we faced was that the room was way too hot but when you turn down the heating, then it gets very cold, so, the sleep quality was not ideal. But that won't be a problem if you go in the right season, ie spring or summer. There is a pond inside the hotel premises which is beautiful. The overall decoration is cute and cozy. But the best part of this hotel is its restaurant. It's a real gem!! I reviewed that restaurant at the restaurant section separately but let me repeat here that this is one of the best fine dining restaurants I have ever been to. Only that restaurant experience is enough to decide to stay at Casa Lavanda. The breakfast is served at the same restaurant and that was very good too. I recommend this place as a romantic getaway.…
We went there for lunch on their garden. Please be aware dont go there with your pet, or if you are scared of dogs. Their two German shepherd dogs attacked us and our dog. I had to rescue her. The personnel have no sense of training or education about these dogs. They do not even have first aid kit in the hotel. They only care about their pockets not the guests. They did not even apologize from us, our dog has gone through a surgery and her lungs collapsed. We are undergoing a very bad trauma since this visit. The hotel is blaming us the we did not wait at the door like all guest are obliged to wait to enter a restaurant!!! They are disrespectful! They know these dogs are aggressive but they don't even bother to tie them when all these guests are around. Not worth to visit and endanger yourself. I am writing this review to serve as public information.…
It is in a village about one hour from Istanbul city, where you can spend a weekend and get relaxed. Surroundings are beautiful, and you can take a walk to the nearby village. It has a good restaurant, but overpriced I think. Some dishes are worth what you pay, but some do not.
Just buildings and decoration, they are beutiful but nothing else. Unfriendly and unhelpful hosts. For such a place prices are extremely high. Waste of money. There are much cheaper and more friendly places around.
I've stayed there for a business meeting. It was a unique, natural, quiet place to be.ideal for group meetings. the food was delicious and carefully cooked. hotel is protecting its form and the prices are reasonable.
My mother in law and my wife has visited this place for a lunch. Not accepted because of that they are with a child younger than 12. But owner told them to leave asap adding that he is warning them politely.. so now I am going to make an official complaint to the authorities about this gentleman and his place.
We were with family. İt was restful peaceful and meaningful. Nice botique hotel with spa and garden. Fire places will take you away. Wonderful list in restaurant and so delicous. We loved it. Nice room nice staff nice wines.
I have been in Turkey for more than 6 years, and after had discovered so many places, I really love Turkish food, definitely Casa Lavanda is a real gastronomic place. I will not describe everything that I ate, because simply all of them were delicious. Rooms are lovely, well decorated and the staff is great too. The area, gardens are great for a walk and take a fresh air from the countryside. But check out the weather forecast, because it can be quite colder than other areas nearby. No negative points, only complements. Highly recommended.
