This is a very nice hotel and well located!! in the heart of the " Party time" in Istanbul! If you want to relax, I strongly recommend you not to stay there, because you can hear a " breath" from the street... and No comments from others rooms nearby!! Avoid the street face rooms :). Nearby there are great restaurants...... More

Nice looking, clean, big rooms, helpful staffs and wonderful location: very close to lovely and LIVE Istiklal Street. Only 3 minute walk to Sishane metro station and Karakoy Tunnel train. Good breakfast and a restaurant on 7 floor with a nice view of Halic and old town. There are two lifts in the hotel, one very old and classic and... More

We were three friends who booked triple room at this hotel. Two of us arrived in the morning of January 12th, first impression was the dirty carpet and very old. Arriving at the lobby they were nice to give us the room even we were too early for the check in (8 am). We showed them the reservation and they... More

My friend & I stayed for 4 nights from 20 March 2014 & I can say that from the start it was a great pleasure. I've been to Istanbul many times, but this was, by far,the best hotel. We had a corner suite room on the 5th floor & it was brilliant. My short review would not be complete if... More

I travelled to Istanbul in 2nd week of March 2014 celebrating my wife's birthday there. As it was our first visit to Istanbul and we had no reference point we relied entirely on trip adviser for our hotel search -it was very confusing as there are thousands of hotels and finally we shortlisted a few deciding to stay in taksim... I came to Palazzo on june 2012 the first time on my honeymoon and it was amazing.. When my family and i decided to visit Istanbul again i directly chose Palazzo because: staff is soo friendly, rooms are cozy and very comfortable, Istiklal Street is 2 mn walking from the hotel which is perfect and the metro station is 3... This hotel is stunning. Old school style. From it's ancient lift to staircase. It is very close to everything, restaurants, tram, funicular etc. But - it's very location in an upcoming trendy area is the problem. The people drink & party all night and are rowdy in the streets in the early hours. There were 2 guys, 1 had a... More

I have never before had a holiday ruined by my choice of hotel, that is until now. The hotel is well located for shopping and site seeing. There is a great number of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Unfortunately there is also a night club next door. I read all the reviews of this hotel before booking and road... More

First of all I wanna point out the few positive things about the hotel: When I made the booking through a website, I got a confirmation from the hotel and offering me at a reasonable rate a transfer from the Airport to the hotel and vice versa which I reserved. Worked very well, great. The Location of the hotel is... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
