Located at a reasonably quiet street in the very heart of the city. Just few meters from the most important monuments. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Very effective AC - important during hot days. Very clean and cozy. Definitely a place to stay.

Perfect location, great place to stay, great service and great servicemen :) Staff very helpful; breakfasts very nice and served long time; pick-up service valued a lot, especially in case of late/night flights. Place I would stay again. Full recommendation granted!

Really nice staff, home-like atmosphere and tea made especially for you day or night :-) Room - very clean and well-kept, not huge but enough space to enjoy your stay. Trustworthy people in the hotel. And friendly! I dn't know if you care about it, but for me it is very important when I travel.

I've spent one week in Sultan House, in well appointed and clean room. Perfect localization, just few minutes from Blue Mosque. Delicious food, very friendly and helpful staff. There is no problem which staff can not solve or question they do know the answer. If you spend your holiday in Istanbul or you are on a business trip - I...

Our 15 person Polish Group stayed in the sultan house for 9 days and had a great time. The hotel has the perfect location for the sights: Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, Topkapi Saray and Basilica Cisterne. Our stay was comfortable because of friendly and helpful attitude of Cihan and hospitality of manager Yunus. Our room was clean and nice equipped.

We've stayed in Sultan House Hotel for almost 2 weeks in special appartments with a beautiful view on the blue mosk. It's been a wonderful time there, the service and people were more than reception, they're now our friends, treated us as family members. Beside that they've guaranteed us a transport from and to the airport. When I come again...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
