If you are a jazz lover you should definitely book here without checking the reviews ( because that music just brings everything to life), but if you are not a fan of jazz then you should give the hotel a try. I stayed almost 20 days there, the hotel was cosy and felt like home.. although there were lock down restrictions and was in the middle of the pandemic but room decoration and that great jazz music playing in the background created such unforgettable pleasant memories. the overall atmosphere suits solo, couple and family travelers. hotel's location was perfect for my interests... its surrounded by hundreds of shops (local and brands), lovely cafes and restaurants, high quality clinics and beauty centres, generally speaking it was only 3 minutes away walking to a metro station (which will reach you to almost any point in istanbul), Cevahir mall and trump towers are reachable by bus, metro station or even walking. Taksim Square is only one stop away. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, they upgraded my room for free upon arrival, helped me with my big parcels and arranging shelters. they were caring to the point they noticed my breakfast preferences along the days without even telling them.... they used to tell me about the weather before heading out. unfortunately my memory fails to recall their names but THANK YOU. one of the most things i am concerned about when travelling is the hygiene especially bathroom but they never failed to satisfy me throughout my stay. I have changed my room upon my request twice and both were perfectly clean and neat. the room was quit big and contained iron, scale, hair dryer, safe case and fax machine ( one of the rooms had a walkin closet).…
Very good choice if you book a room at this hotel. Clean, perfect for relaxing. It is centrally located in a quiet street. The staff is kind and helpful. The jazz concept is a very good idea, because of concept the hotel is unique. The only thing that can bothers you is the louder speech, laugh or music coming from the next room. I think the insulation is not perfect. Otherwise everything is perfect, the breakfast also. 😁
Excellent choice. We were there for 5 days for the Istanbul Marathon (15km race) so location in a quiet street, 2 minutes walking distance from Osmanbey Metro station and with many bars and restaurants around, makes Jazz Hotel a perfect place to stay. If you like Jazz this is an extra reason to stay there. People were friendly and very supportive. Special thanks to the reception staff. I have visited Istanbul 15 times. Jazz hotel is one of the best choices I have made.
The hotel is situated only 2 minutes walking distance from Osmanbey metro station, which can lead you to any part of Istanbul without major hassle. In addition it is 5 minutes walking distance from major developments in Nisantasi, heart of Istanbul where some of best restaurants and bars are available. Hotel service is good and looks as if it is run by a family. Hotel offers only breakfast and it is served into a big table for everyone. Rooms are very clean and spacious. However the key is that every Hotel has a singers name, with a disc with their name at their door: Sinatra, Louis, etc. There is a music installed throughout the room by that singer and ways to volume up/down the music in every part of the room. Beautiful if you like jazz music.
The room smelled the sewage all the time. The hotel was very small and had a total of 12 rooms. The room was not very clean. The cost of the room was very high in terms of service, in general, it was not a good hotel at all.
It was excellent. People were friendly, the room was clean. We loved the welcome Turkish delights and the Jazz Them in the whole hotel. We were there for a week end for holidays purpose. Easy to access, there is a metro station very near.
Rooms are a little bit small... But so lovely, so cosy, well arranged and equipped that you actually don t care about their size. You have a printer as well in the room and a soft jazz music in surround. Which of course you can turn off whenever you want. A very small hotel of 12 rooms only, plenty of charme which I definitely suggest! Staff is also very kind and helpful. Location is also very good. 5 min walking from metro line reaching Taksim square. Downtown. Don t miss the Jazz hotel you as will have a very pleasant stay!
Cozy and very friendly place.. for couples, friends and family! Very clean and the receptionist and the manager were so helpful! Organized transfer from and to the airport and bus ! Healthy and superb breakfast! Thank you for all
For my entire 6-night stay, the smell of sewage was insufferable. I spent as much time outside as I could. Whenever the maids came, the smell persisted. I don’t know what was going on, but I think that’s the reason my stay was only $64/night. The breakfast was pretty good every other day. Very stale and inedible simit and other breads on their off-days.
Nice clean Hotel, very good location, near Nisantasi and close to Metro station. Staff are nice, beakfast is good. booked 2 room so we had the floor of us. good size rooms with good size bathroom. renovated and well maintained.
