if you are looking for a budget hotel with good service and amazing breakfast, then this is the right place for you... location is simply excellent, you are at a walking distance from the famous Istanbul sightseeing. those eight days that i spent there were really wonderful...It should be mentioned that rooms are rather small, but you have everything you... We spend a night at this hotel. It was booked for us by our Turkish partners. Since we requested a hotel near Eminonu ferry port, this was right at the point. + : helpful english speaking staff, free coffee and tea in the room, good variety turkish style breakfast, many restaurants all over that area, just below Sultanahmet area and... We were visiting Istanbul for the first time, and since we were travelling with our 3 children we wanted a convenient place and easy for us to reach all the sites. Therefore, Q inn hotel was recommended by our friend and we did really find the ideal location for us. It is near by most of central spots of the... More

Located in old part of Istambul, 30 minutes walk to Blue Mosque (or 10 minutes drive with blue line train). A great sea view from the rooftop restaurant, tasty breakfast, wifi available, quiet or maybe rather not too noisy district makes the hotel great place to stay. Close to Mado cafe and Akdeniz Hatay Sofrazi restaurant - everyone should go... More

The Q Inn Old City in Istanbul was a huge disappointment. Rooms were not very clean, bed was terrible--a mattress and box spring on the floor. Air conditioning was questionable during a very hot time. The food, however, for the evening meal was excellent. Breakfast not so much. The Erboy Hotel in Istanbyl is a far better choice.

My granddaughter and I stayed at the Q Inn for a total of 4 nights and had an excellent experience there. There are a lot of boutique hotels in the Old City area, but this one had a very good breakfast buffet included, a location in between 2 tram stops, a lot of good small restaurants in the area, and... This hotel is ideally located for visits to the Sultanahmed area, a 6-7 minute tram ride away. Actually, it's Laledi neighborhood seems to be the center of Istanbul's fashion industry. Rooms are a great value, The front desk staff are awesome and housekeeping is terrific. The breakfast is sort of a dud- they drag out the same salads and sliced... More

Very accomadating and helpful staff , however this is definitely not four star rating, breakfast was very basic , and rooms very basic , for the price we could get other accomadation. However I have to compliment the staff they all were very helpful.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
