The house apartment Stayed in the 4th floor room with the balcony. Room was good sized, the only one in the complex with a balcony (though 5th floor room has a rooftop terrace I think), had a TV, washing machine but no dryer, dishwasher and air con.  Thoughtful things like complementary soft drinks, water, chips, snacks, tea and coffee included.... I really liked House Apart Tunel. There is a little kitchen, a big refrigerator, washing machine and a dishwasher. The location was great. 5-minute walk to Tunel Tram Stop. There are many restaurants and coffeshops. Breakfast is included and it is a pretty good breakfast at House Cafe which is right by the Tram stop. You can choose to be... More

This is one of those deals that just gets better over time. The studio apartment was comfortable and well-appointed with nice little touches like slippers and a Juliet balcony. The location was terrific in terms of being close to restaurants and bars and transportation. Breakfast is provided at the House Cafe, not far from the apartment, and the choices were... More

We stayed at the The House apart at Tunel for 4 nights, it has really good location. We stayed at the ground floor apartment. It's very close to the Asmalimescit area where many great restaurants and bars are at. The street the apartment facing at: Timarci sok, has some really nice cozy hip cafes to hang out at too. It's... Welkom to Ikea heaven, the hotel; are actually small apartments in a nice vibrant part of town. Located on a quiet side street in an old townhouse, just beside Tunel the fenuculair. A gourmet breakfast can be taken at any of the owners little boutique cafe's just around the corner. There is no reception, rendez-vous with the congierge on duty... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
