We went there for four nights and we would have loved to stay much longer. It's a fantastic place to stay and the style, comfort and view from the penthouse are so gorgeous that sometimes it's hard to leave the apartment and go out. Nevertheless it's located in a great area of this amazing city and it's the perfect base...

This is a magic guest house! Location was excellent, just a few minutes walk from Galata Tower which is full of life 24/7. The Penthouse was big and tidy and we would definitely stay there again. The owner was really helpfull with any cases. The are extremely spacious and we had a great view of the city. The hotel is...

We stayed for 7 days on the first floor for our honey moon. The first floor is very stylish indeed and a lovely place to stay. We met Murat on our second day and have to agree with most previous posts that he is a very friendly and helpful guy. He gave us a few tips on where to go...

Fabulous accommodation in a wonderful city. We stayed on the second floor which had a wonderful view of Istanbul & glimpses of the Bosphorous. Murat has great suggestions for eating, shopping, partying and things to do around the city. It is not like staying in a hotel, it is more like an apartment with limited service. This is stylish accommodation...

First, our stay at the hotel was made more memorable by the hospitality and friendliness of Murat, the hotel manager. He made us feel like we’re visiting a good old wonderful friend in this foreign city. Good luck getting that kind of service in another hotel. Now the hotel. We loved the location - it’s proximity to the lively Istiklal...

Nice apartment in terms of space and decor. Artsy and definitely unique. It's located in the developing area (at the end of the dead-end street), so if you want to experiment and experience the real bohemian life style in Istanbul - that's the place... ... but not in the summer. None of the floors/apartments, except the penthouse have the air...

Staying at 4floors was unique experience. If you really want to be in the heart of trendy Istanbul you should definitely choose this place. Apartments with a scent of very sophisticated interior design, worm and welcomming, will give you the feeling that you're nothing but the part of this amazing city. The best experience was the stunning morning view over...

Fantastic place in great central location. We had the super modern penthouse on two floors. The great design and amazing views made a lasting impression as did Murat the really great host. We really enjoyed the top room and balcony and enjoyed just sipping some wine and eating fresh mezzes while enjoying the beautiful panorama listening to music on the...

Although I travel fairly often, I rarely take the time to write reviews of where I stay, but in this case I must make an exception. To be blunt, if you are planning a trip to Istanbul (and you really should be), you would be nuts not to stay at 4Floors. It is hands down THE place to stay in...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
