Tudo bom. Limpo. Excelente serviço. Conforto e sossego mesmo estando perto das atrações. Great place. Good service and near all the main attractions. You can go there walking. It's a piece of cake to move around town

POSITIVE the location, very close to the metro, in the district of sultanahmed. you can basically walk to the main attractions, and hope on the metro to elsewhere. NEGATIVE This is not really a hotel, but just a restaurant that rents a room. we stayed for 3 nights, we had to ask to put the bed linen, and they gave...

We actually didn't stay at the Hotel so disregard my ratings of the rooms and sleep quality. Trip Advisor wouldn't let me post this unless I checked the circles. We arrived in Istanbul after a 13 hour flight from LAX at about 9:00 pm and got to our hotel by about 10:30. Having never been to Istanbul My wife and...

We first arrived and loved the rooms..The first morning my husband came back to the room while we were having breakfast and found the person cleaning the room with her hand in my carry on bag. She was obviously suprised but as there was nothing to steal we didn't say anything. When we received our final bill we were charged...

The appropriate definition of this accomodation is Inn,because it's not an actual hotel. It's a three bedrooms building with quiet large rooms on top of a restaurant-bar,both owned by Mr.Hakan.The location is excellent! We were two couples so we booked for two of the three bedrooms(First and top floor). The rooms were beautiful and cleaned but maintanance was a little...

Hotel in a great location! Restaurant offers great food! Staff ever so friendly! But, neighbourhood can get quite noisy. Service can be slow, especially if the restaurant is quiet, which didn't make sense. Staff can hassle people to go into the restaurant to eat. But this can be said of many if the hotels and restaurants in sultanahmet area...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
