It's not a hotel, honestly. It's just a cosy inn located in the populare region of Sultanahmet. 5th floor had a nice view of the sea, and the bed was comfortable. the staff were friendly. and 10 min (stip) walk away from tramway station. but... nothing works properly: airconditioner, bathroom, safebox,... lots of uncomfortable stairs no slippers, no toothbrushes, no kettles. considering the fact that Turkey's standards for rating hotel is far below global standards, you can accept it as a cheap hotel. it definitely doesn't deserve more than 2stars.
We stayed for 3 night here, at the 5th Floor Balcony Sea View. The hotel is located near city center ( sultanahmet area) and near public transportation. Along the way to station you may find a lot of restaurant and souvenir shop. If you want to stay to this hotel at the top floor, please note that this hotel didn't provide lift, you may use stairs to go upstairs. And its location must be reached by going up and down the hill. If you bring family with children and old people should considering this situation. It better to use "Backpack" rather than use "trolley travel bag". The service were good, the receptionist are really helpfull by providing as information related to the surround area with good english
The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The room could have been cleaned better. The breakfast was basic but good. It is located on a quiet street just a few minutes walk from most major attractions.
We stayed 3 nights and really had no complaints. We took the airport bus (took 60 minutes) and was dropped off next to the Haglia Sophia and then walked 10 minutes to the hotel. The cobblestone road made dragging our bags difficult but we easily found the hotel using maps me app on our phones. We choose the balcony sea view room and it was really special to sit outside with the million dollar view. We paid 3 euros each for breakfast and thought it was more than sufficient (cheese, deli meats, bread, fruits, cereal, coffee). We walked everywhere in Sultanahmet but also caught the tram and subway (stops are an easy walking distance from Hotel) for sightseeing further away. The hotel central location made exploring Sultanahmet very easy and we caught the airport bus back to the airport at the end of our stay ( runs every 30 minutes throughout the day with drop off and pick up in the same location). The front staff at the hotel answered all our questions and provided lots of assistance including storing our bags (for our late night departure flight) and mailing my postcard. …
The manager named Mavi is awful and he didn’t care if they lose a customer. The only thing he cared was for them to earn some money. This is sad cause i have been referred by a friend and heard some good things about the hotel, unfortunately their customer service needs a lot of improvement.
