A very friendly and helpful staff. Its location is central for everything (Shops, Grand Bazar,etc..). You can reach tramway or metro in 3 minutes walking.Rooms are cleaned daily, towels and toiletries are replaced every day. Wifi works in the rooms. The breakfast was great with lots of varieties. The roof pool was great. The negative point in this hotel was that... More

Great position great breakfast a short walk to the main drag dont use public transport , walk, too many fabulous things to experience on the way to the sights. Let them arrange tours unless you speak turkish, recomend bosperous boat trip and forget royal palace too many people and if someone is trying to be helpful politely keep walking or... More

I stayed 6 nights at this hotel this November. To be fair I write both negative and positive points. Negative points: They DO NOT give you the service they promised at all. For example in room facilities it was written that there is an electric kettle in the room but it wasn’t and we asked 24 times to finally received... More

I never have wrote reviews but feel it's important on this occasion. Below is a list of reasons why I would not come again! Rude and unwelcoming staff at reception Flooded toilet Door does not close to the toilet and gets jammed! Water in the fridge not replenished Stale cake at breakfast Very dated and old hotel Old furniture in... More

Other people's reviews on this hotel put me off of this hotel but to be honest some people are very hard to please! Lovely hotel, lovely pool, lovely room, lovely breakfast, nice helpful people and would definitely go there again. Free aircon, free WiFi nothing wrong with the location for the price we paid. Easy access to tramway and metro... More

Our room was advertised as a three proper bed room but we ended up with a room with two beds and a makeshift bed which was not great. Our shower was really nice and powerful but would flood our bathroom anytime we used it. The breakfast was ok but nothing special, they aren't very good at replacing empty buffet trays... More

Recent family holiday included 4 days in Istanbul - beautiful experience. We stayed 4 nights bed and breakfast at the Zagreb Hotel. The staff were very pleasant and responsive to any issues we had. On arrival we were shown to our adjacent rooms as requested. However our en suite was not clean, when I advised the porter he apologetically offered... More

Actually I don't know who has given 4 stars to this hotel. + : nothing to say, but maybe the breakfast and the air conditioner of the rooms. - : Verry disappointing at the time of arrival. Very unfriendly even rude staff. The rooms are old, tiny & dirty. The bathroom gives impression of being so untidy and contaminated. Our... More

The rooftop pool is the main attraction here. Too bad the water was cloudy for two days. And the pool attendant kicked me out for sitting and reading up there because "You must be swimming." Most of the staff were very grouchy and unfriendly. The breakfast was a great spread. The rooms were tiny. They were remodeling 4/5 of the... More

Very central, shops and Grand Bazaar so close. Helpful staff, especially one of the the receptionists, who checked me in , for my return flight, and printed document. Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels and toiletries replaced every day. Hairdryer and fridge in room. Would definitely return... Thank you so much.

Staying in Grand Bazaar

Neighborhood Profile
Grand Bazaar
Tourists, hawkers, and locals come together at the Grand Bazaar to comb its labyrinthine passageways in search of a bargain – be it a pair of brand name jeans, a handcrafted silk rug, or a perfectly brewed cup of tea. Outside the vast bazaar, worn, narrow streets wind their way down from its lofty perch to the southern shore of the Golden Horn, where the evocatively aromatic Spice Bazaar beckons alongside the elegant New Mosque (opened in 1665). Nearby, the famed Galata Bridge offers pedestrian access to urban delights across the river in Istanbul’s more residential and contemporary neighborhoods, while the must-see sights of Sultanahmet are but a leisurely stroll away.
