I stayed here for 7 nights in December 2015. The staff were very relaxed and friendly and pleasant to deal with. The common area was nice and relaxing. Unfortunatley, i had trouble getting a good night sleep. I was on the 4th floor in a single room. There was alot of door banging from the other rooms (you had to... More

Personnel were exquisite. Breakfast was incredible, free internet and rooms were sufficiently clean with lots of smart graffiti on the walls. Very alternative place, where it’s possible to meet incredible people from all the world. The lounge area offers the possibility to listen to your music and stay on very confortable sofas. I came back many many times when was... More

The hostel is quite central, quite close to the Taksim street. The staff is really nice and helpful. The rooms are basic, but it was what we expected for 12eu per night. The nice suprise was breakfast which, apparently, is included in price.

Not a bad word to say about the hostel, clean rooms, very friendly help staff (more than happy to help when I asked for another blanket). Helped us work our way around the city, drawing maps and asking numerous questions. Rooms were a good size and lots of hot water. The hostel was really well situated, shopping just up the... More

Hostel staff was really friendly. Hostel is really close to the tram station and less than five minutes from the main walking street. Breakfast was really nice and the basement kitchen had everything we needed. There a lot of posters on the walls from all over Europe and the breakfast areas is so peaceful. I stayed in this hostel two... More

I stayed at the hostel for one night, in a single bed room. The room was small and very very basic. It had no ventilation whatsoever (there was not even wind coming from the window, I had to open the door to get some air). The bed was in a bad shape, you could almost drown in it. The outside... If you're looking for bed, interesting international entourage and you're unpretentious traveler, Neverland Hostel is for you. It's located near main avenue and you will spend only five minutes by walk to get there. Hostel staff is very helpful. One man from reception played backgammon with me, the other one, Berkhan, like good music and Russian music too, which was very... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
