Although this is a small hotel, it offers a lot to travelers for an excellent price, especially during the off season. We were meet at the airport for an easy transfer to the hotel. Once we arrived to the hotel, we were greeted outside by a warm handshake and a smile from the front desk staff. There was always a... More

There is nothing not to like here! Only seven new rooms so staff gets to know you quickly and will cheerfully answer the same questions they get asked all the time with a smile. Even though there are only seven rooms, someone is at the desk 24 hours. Breakfast room has a view that is very nice and other guests... More

Clean, comfortable and friendly. Very convenient for city centre. Excellent breakfast. Room was a good size with good location walking distance to major sights. Beautifully appointed bathroom with efficient shower with no hot water issues. Recommended.

We ended up here after our other hotel fell through. (Review done on that hotel's site). We ended up staying here with two elder parents, a 7 year old and a 10 year old. The place is small and quaint. Newly renovated and clean in a great location but the best part of the hotel is the people. Our trip... More

Very cosy, clean and friendly hotel. The hotel was in an old, beautigul building. The room was not very big, but there were everything we needed. The location was perfect for us, because we were mainly interested in Old Istanbul. The staff was like a group of friends. We got all the help and tips we needed and even more.... More

Stayed in the Yasmak Sultan in March for my first trip to Istanbul. Beautiful Hotel, lovely rooms, staff were also nice particularly the breakfast staff and a young man who looked after the bar in the evening. The breakfast was yummy. As a single female traveller i felt very safe wandering around at night as well . The area is... More

This small hotel is great. tucked away on a quiet street but only a 5-10 min walk to the main sites. The people who work at the hotel treat you like you are guests in their house not in a hotel. One desk clerk actually gave us his card to use the tram out of his own pocket to save... More

Osmanhan is our second home in Istanbul. Its owner and staff are like as our family. They are really friendly and kind from their hearts. Our tree-day stay in this hotel became very special memory because of them. Clean rooms, carefully prepared breakfast, superb view from the roof top terrace ... everything is unforgettable. The time when we visited was... More

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing one of my best ever hotel stays. The Osmanhan Hotel in Istanbul was a welcoming retreat after a day of exploring the sights and sounds of the city. From the moment I walked through the door I knew I had made the right choice as I was greeted by the friendly face of... More

We were especially attracted with the beautiful scene from the roof top terrace, at which they're serving breakfast. We could see Asian side and much farther places. Off cource, their breakfast was great, too. We felt that all of foods were selected with care and fresh. The rooms we stayed were incredibly clean and so comfortable. We thank the owner... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
