I choose this hotel for my second stay in Istanbul again, because of the GREAT LOCATION in the centre (Sultanahmet - 3 min walk to Hagia Sophia, close to the tram and subway and all the best you must see in this amazing city), but in the quiet area and the REASONABLE PRICE for the room as well. The hotel...

This little hotel is ideally located in the heart of Istanbul, and is easily reached by tram from the airport. Easiest way to find it: get off at Sultanahmet and walk down the hill. Just past Pudding Lane shop turn left and go through the alleyway of cafes. At the end turn left and walk up the road passing a...

amazing little place, accomodation is nothing special, but more than good! Perfect stunning location, its like beeing in the backyard of Aya Sofia, Aya Eirene, Topkapi palace and Bosforus. All of those, plus the Cistern basilica and the Blue Mosque is about 2-5 mins walk. Very friendly and kind staff, great breakfast on the lovely terrace in the garden!

A small, clean, very friendly hotel in convenient central location Easy walking distance to sights.. View of blue mosque from dining room and bedroom. Good plentiful basic breakfast and very helpful english speaking staff who can provide maps and arrange Bosphorous tours and airport taxis if asked. We were given a very warm reception and really enjoyed our stay.

Friendly staff with good command of English and very williing to help. The no frills room contained all that was necessary. Walking distance from almost everything in the old city, including the Marmaray underground line that crosses to Asia. Breakfast was good and plenty. Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
