Amazing location next to Taksim Square. Very helpfull and friendly staff with excellent English & Arabic. Only problem was that getting into the bath tub is very difficult. You need to step over some 65cm to have a shower. For elderly people it's almost impossible.

This hotel is situated in Taksim, close to Taksim square, which is in the new city and the commercial hub. We wanted to stay in this area as opposed to the Sultanahmet because this is where all the nightlife is and it has easy access to the Sultanahmet for all the sightseeing attractions. The hotel was stylish and clean. Our...

Stayed there with a tour group and loved the hotel. Great location near Taksim Square and Subway with lots of cafes and restaurants near. Room was large and nice but as others noted-no view but we were not in room very long. Nice breakfast buffet.

The house keepers failed to put tissue and towels for two days in a row we had to always call reception and ask for it. Some of the staff were rude and refusing to believe us as they just wanted to support their own people and keep them out of trouble. The hotel Taxi's were ripping us off big time....

We stayed here three nights as part of a tour group. It is only a few blocks from Taksim square. Walking there, you will encounter some very aggressive cafe owners wanting you to eat at their place even if you tell them you already ate. The hotel itself has a very good breakfast buffet. The room and bathroom sizes are...

My wife and I recently stayed in two hotels in Istanbul - a small boutique hotel in the heart of the old city (Sultanahmet) and then the Titanic City Hotel in near Taksim Square. This gave us an immediate context for comparing the Titanic to other hotels. Overall, the room in the Titanic was nicer - size, bathroom, amenities. AND...

Titanic City Taksim is now one of my favorite hotels. The only possible reason I can think of that it's not rated much higher on TripAdvisor is that it must not be well-known among readers and reviewers here. It is a beautiful, modern hotel in a great location in Taksim—convenient to Istiklal nightlife, Gesi park, and all of Beyoglu. The...

Stayed 1 night at the Titanic City Hotel. It was very clean, large room and bathroom, very modern, friendly staff. Many restaurants and shopping in the area. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is very well located in the Taksim area. Taksim is touristic area but also commercial, I prefer to stay in Taksim than Sultanahmed. And it's only 10 min from there. The breakfast is also good, they change some options every day, which means you always find something new. Also it's very clean and they have a good spa...

All staff are very very helpful. All speaks English . the location is excellent with cafes restaurants around, rooms are well furnished and kept clean. the hotel has good swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. (but the Jacuzzi was not warm as desired). the down side is the small corridors, noise coming from corridors and neighboring rooms.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
