First of all, the quality and quantity of the breakfast was amazing. We really enjoyed eating both sweet and salty choices. The hotel was clean and modern, it had a gym and Jacuzzi if you are interested in that kind of thing. The staff was very polite and helpful. The area was safe enough and near the Taksim square, that... More

This hotel is 1 minute walking distance from Taksim square and the meteo station. The room is elegant... The interior is pretty nice. My room had a city view. Room service is great. The staff are friendly but you can hardly communicate with them regarding an address :). Watch out the taxi's infront of the hotel, they are expensive. The... More

The hotel is centrally located in Taksim, about 2 blocks from the nearest subway station. The room was beautifully appointed with free WiFi. The breakfast buffet, included in the room rate, offered a huge selection of Turkish dishes, aside from the more traditional American breakfast items and a large selection of bakery items. I also enjoyed the hamam in the... More

It's been very poor experience having stayed at this hotel, highly commercial & staff very very rude. A bottle of water provided for 3 night stay hotel, each day water bottle, 10lira charge. Will never recommend to any family or friends to stay at this hotel. Not at all worth the pay.

What more could you want from a hotel than walking distance to the sites and a good breakfast to start the day? Add a nice pool, jacuzzi, hamam, sauna, sea views, marble bathrooms and friendly staff and you've got yourself a deal. And with the prices they offer, a good deal at that.

I adored our room on the tenth floor from where the Istanbul skyline amazes the visitor. Only minutes away from Taksim square, the city's landmark, the hotel offered a quiet and peaceful stay yet surrounded by everything one could need during his stay; pharmacies, grocery shops, kiosks, ATMs and even a dry cleaner's place at a pace distance. Also, the... More

Stayed two nights and it was my first nights in Turkey. Rooms were comfortable, bathroom clean and amenities were decent. Make sure you check out the view from the top floor! The buffet was good and you can watch the world go by while enjoying coffee (with milk!)

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
