Very good location, near agya sophia and blue mosque. Very comfortable and clean, and Ali, the guy from the reception was kind and helpfull. I reccomend this place, like I said, it s near to the most important sites.

I booked at another hotel but they overbooked and upgraded me to a suite at Anatolia. My tv didn't work initially but the very capable front desk guy made multiple trips until it was fixed. I don't see rooftop patio advertised so it really isn't their fault it isn't available. They gave good advice and were very friendly at the... More

We travelled as a group and booked a number of rooms at this place. You will get what you will pay for.In season, can be pricy, but out of season it can quite a bargain. The rooms are relatively simple and straight forward, the facilities are rather rudimentary, but will do the job.If it's simplicity that you're after,it's the perfect place. We either ate out... More

We read the reviews and we were very surprised to find there was in fact no breakfast offered, no rooftop terrace as mentioned in another review, no balcony(s) at all. Perhaps more important the fridge in our room did not work, nor did the two TV's. The bath towels were thread bare. The bed sheets had been cut through in... More

I am staying here at Anatolia Suites in Istanbul. So far, after a week in Italy, this has been my best night's sleep since arriving in Europe. The view from our private balcony is outstanding. The staff has been very kind and welcoming and the location is a short walk from most of the Old City's attractions, such as the... More

I visited Istanbul with my family in November. I called different hotels to ask the price and the available facilities. After a couple of calls, it seemed that an appartement/suite was a better option, because you can stay with your family (or friends) on the same floor and it is much more cheaper, about 1/3 the price compared to a... Before we arrived I emailed the hotel to arrange transport from and to the airport, response was fast and professional, no problem with the arrangements and put my mind at ease. Transport company with my name on the board was waiting at arrivals for me, we just had to wait outside the terminal for vehicle for 5 minutes, transfer felt... More

Nice small hotel, just several minutes walk from the most beautiful historical places in old Istanbul. The staff was really friendly, and helped with all the questions we had, advised where to go, eat, provided us with kettle and cups to drink coffee in the morning, organized way back to the airport. The room in the hotel was not perfect,... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
