We stayed for 4 nights, its in a lovely location. The hotel has a boat to take you to the other FS hotel, which is at a very reasonable cost. Its a much more relaxed way of getting in the main area. We had massages which were good, the spa area was very nice. We had dinner twice at Ocakbasi twice, the food was fantastic.

Early September my fiance surprised me with an Istanbul get away which ended up being the best weekend of my life. What a great choice we stayed at Four Seasons on Bosphorus. Enjoying another continent through your windows was soo cool. Rooms were very clean & spacious and the pool was extremely nice. You feel the luxury from the moment you enter the hotel. The Concierge was super helpful and organized an amazing city tour with a handsome guide Ilker Ulus (@tourguidex) ; what a gentleman and great guide he is. He showed us around the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia , Cisterna Basilica and of course the famous Grand Bazaar. It was definitely a blast. Soo professional with great knowledge of his country's history and culture. We truly enjoyed his interesting stories and learned a lot. Having lived in U.S. for long he also had perfect language skills, you should definitely request him as your guide visiting this beautiful city Istanbul. We are already planning our next visit to Istanbul and thinking to stay at the other Four Seasons as well (which was a prison) That'll be very cool too.

Perfect location! You definitely want to stay here to be right on the Bosphorus! We arrived early (9am) they offered us a room to wait in until ours was ready. They have a water taxi to shuttle you over to the other Four Seasons dock. (The other Four Seasons is not on the water). The water shuttle is very convenient because of traffic. This drop off requires about a 10 minute walk uphill to many places of interest. (Blue Mosque, Sophia Hagia etc.) There is also a land shuttle, between the 2 hotels, but we took the water instead. The main restaurant overlooks the Bosphorus & serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. It’s fun being on the waterfront to watch how busy this waterway is! Staff were all very helpful & friendly. Room 1203 is huge with tall ceilings & overlooks the Bosphorus. When we went to the airport the hotel arranged a car for us. When we got to the airport the hotel had also arranged for a personal escort and baggage handler to assist us all the way to the second security checkpoint.

We had such a unique time in Istanbul and also at the Four Seasons. The place has a magic atmosphere and even though we had only 3 nights we could feel the magic. We were so lucky to have an amazing tour guide, Reggie (@recepregie) that showed us all the incredible places and also hidden magic spots. We had a blast with, and it wouldn't be special if he wasn't with us. In love with Istanbul!

We loved our stay at the Four Seasons Bosphorus. It was part of a quick two day layover in Istanbul and we spent a lot of our time on property. The staff was also incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. Our meal at Aqua was one of the best of our 10 day trip through multiple countries. We also enjoyed the water taxi that takes you between the two Four Seasons properties (it costs 12 Euro but is much quicker than the land shuttle)! The property is also picturesque - beautiful decor, great views of the Bosphorus, and perfectly maintained. Location is not near the main tourist attractions (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, etc), but the shuttle service to the other property made it easy. All things considered, we would definitely prefer to stay at this property rather than in Sultanahmet due to how congested it is. Also, we arranged the car service from IST airport and it was 110% worth the price. It includes a planeside attendant who escorts you via golf cart through a private immigration/customs line...and same thing on the return! You are whisked through airport check-in, passport control, and security and dropped off at the lounge. Can't say enough about this service. All in all, we loved our stay and will definitely be back very soon.

Overall a good experience at this property renovated in 2008. The greeting at reception was very warm and welcoming on arrival and a seamless checking process. The first night was terrible, though. We were staying in the newer rooms on one of the wings and didn’t sleep. There doesn’t seem to be insulation in the window bays and we heard every ambulance, person shouting, and car driving past, not to mention car horn. I don’t think these rooms should even be sold until the sound proofing is improved - I have no idea who could sleep in these. We were offered an upgraded room on the other side of the hotel which was a suit. Exceptional and very nice. We slept well here. There is an indoor and outdoor pool - both are wonderful and the sauna/steam facilities are nice. Some comments and improvements for the property: 1. While reception were very attentive, there is a culture of staff giving their personal business cards to patrons. During my stay I received about 5 separate cards. It was very confusing. I think there needs to be one or two dedicated people for the guest experience. By day three I was a bit overwhelmed. At times I was given the same card by the same person across multiple days. It was strange. 2. Breakfast and dining services are poor. The food offered is average for breakfast, and staff across both dining experiences are poorly trained and inattentive. At times staff couldn’t speak English, didn’t clear tables, and didn’t explain the buffet or show us to a table. Mostly ‘take a seat anywhere’ and not taking coffee order. I think at $1,500 a night, this really needs to be improved. 3. Prices for food in the room is in euros and is more expensive. In the restaurant it is in TL, sometimes the same meal, and cheaper. This isn’t on. Overall I would probably stay and the FS Sultanahmet - their sister property is newly renovated, has better food, and the restaurant staff are more attentive. I would also consider the mandarin oriental for more exceptional service, cheaper food and of better quality.

This Four Seasons is an exotic gem on the Bosphorus. It has an indoor/outdoor feel with restaurants and bars both inside and out. I’ve never seen a breakfast layout with more delicious options. First rate, warm and professional attention by all staff at all times. Spa area impeccable, whether you want a Hammam or to work out! I received flowers upon arrival and fresh fruit in our room daily. My husband and I would go back in a heartbeat.
