What a great place to rest after or before exploring the Pamir.
Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean and overall everything is well maintained.
Suitable for adventurers looking for a bed in dormitory as well as couples thanks to very affordable private rooms (we paid 220 somoni per night for the room).
The small inside courtyard allows you to safely park your bicycle or motorbike.
Location is great. Moreover, taxis are very cheap so it will cost you 1 or 2 euros to reach any place in the city.
We highly recommend.

I would like to thank the staff of this hostel for being ready to help, to explain everything at any moment. Everything is fine in the hostel, single bunk beds, the rooms are cool, which helped a lot in such a heat. There is also a lot of space, a lot of people from different countries with whom you can make friends and share travel experiences during your stay. For the price this is a great hostel.

I really loved staying here. Incredibly nice family runs it. They keep the place spotlessly clean and are always available to help out with anything you need. Well-stocked, large kitchen available. Good showers, spacious rooms. Decent WiFi for Tajikistan.

Hostel is perfectly well located, near airport (you can go by bus, or few minutes taxi), and walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets, etc.
I believe it is a family business, they are extremely helpful, kind. They speak English and the will help you in any way you need.
I stayed in private room, huge, with private toilet, but most travelers stay at dorms.
Kitchen is big, well equipped and clean.
It seems to be “THE HOSTEL” to go to if you are in the city in between treks and trips.

The private room was small, but perfectly adequate and reasonably priced. The real highlight for us was the incredible help Murad offered during our stay and throughout our onward travel. He was very generous and always ready to offer assistance which has a very positive impact on our time in Tajikistan.

This is the perfect place to stay. There are dorm rooms and private room with ensuite bathrooms. I had booked one of the latter. The room was big, bright (a huge window front to the courtyard), quiet and wonderfully warm (great in cold November weather). The wooden ceiling was a beautiful sight in itself. Breakfast was huge and tasty, and there is a full kitchen that you can use.
2 supermarkets and several restaurants are only a few minutes on foot.
The best advantage, however, is the owners: They are really friendly, AND they can organise just about everything that you could wish for when it comes to travelling, either in a group or individually, on foot, by bike, via local transport, with a car/jeep. They also offer any kinds of transfers.
Costs/rates are super cheap.
It was a really amazing experience! I would return without any hesitation.

This is a lovely hostel - really nice atmosphere and a great place to meet people on all kinds of interesting adventures. All the basics are well covered - good breakfast, decent wifi, washing machines available, and the staff are super helpful. They can also arrange trips to the Fann mountains, which were good value and flexible and we were very well looked after.

I stayed at Green House Hostel for several nights. This is the one and only meeting point for cyclists and Overlanders. The staff has been really helpfull during my stay. I would really stay here again on a next trip!

This hostel in Dushanbe seems to be very popular with travellers-backpackers, cyclists, walkers etc. But it also attracts expatriot residents of the area, who enjoy weekend breaks. Whilst i was there, Iranian workers on the nearby dam enjoyed staying there whilst on project work. The management team is welcoming, ready to assist with ongoing travel plans and give advice on city attractions etc. Management can organise your Palmir trip. There is a kitchen in good order that can be used by guests, 'eggs for breakfast', comfy seating in all areas. The bathroom needs alot of attention, but the shower is hot. The dorm bed i slept in, had mattresses that needed renewing but i did sleep well. The inside of the house is cold, even when it is hot outside. The closed courtyard ensures safety and offers adequate parking for bikes and a couple of vehicles. The hostel is quite central. Within walking distance of the main park, opera house, bazaars etc. It is close to bus routes and bus stops. Food shops nearby and a couple of restaurants, bank and ATMs, one in the Sheraton nearby. I would recommend this hostel to fellow travellers.

I stayed here twice before and after heading to the Pamirs. It's comfortable with included breakfast of eggs, bread and tea. Toilets and showers are clean. The staff are very good and can help you arrange transportation throughout Tajikistan.
