Almost next to the airport, but not affected by aircraft noise. Minor problem about whether we had paid but soon resolved by friendly staff. All could speak english. We were upgraded to a suite. Quiet, with excellent aircon. Biggest bed I've ever slept in. Pillows were like clouds. Money changing facility in hotel + ATM. Restaurant superb. Breakfast a bit pricy at $25, but easy to find alternatives outside. Too dear for backpackers, but a luxury not to be missed if you have a few bob. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

HOTEL. Stayed at this newly rebranded Hilton Hotel Dushanbe during Nowruz 2019. Top floor, even numbered room facing south (view of the airport and the valley). Opposite side has city and mountain views. Rooms are bright with large windows and spectacular views. The rooms are clean and quiet with very comfortable beds. TV has usual selection of local and international TV channels including English, Russian, Bollywood, etc. FOOD. Amazing food at inAzia restaurant. Definitely the best in Dushanbe. New menu offerings that are delicious and Sushi (fish flown from Dubai) once a week on Friday nights. Ate sushi twice (the menu for 2, spicy tuna roll, salmon & tuna sashimi) and no GI problems. Also recommend noodles and chicken, and their soups. All taste great. We also ate in the lounge (kids loved margarita pizza and French fries). Breakfast buffet is a standard selection. Eggs to order. SPA. A pool, and separate female and male saunas (dry and steam). Swedish massage, etc. Swim lessons for kids are also offered. Full gym that is clean with modern equipment. Friendly staff speak English, Russian, and of course Tajik. Overall, very satisfied with this stay and plan to use the same hotel next time we just want to get away for a weekend.

Stayed here as part of a group tour and this was the best hotel of the two weeks. The staff were friendly and informative, the room had everything we needed and more (including the amazing view of the city) and the breakfast had so much choice it was hard to decide. I didn’t use the spa/ pool/ bar or restaurant, but others did and only said good things about them. I wouldn’t to recommend this hotel.

The Hotel is located nearby International Airport that takes 5 min car ride. The Hotel staff is incredibly helpful and hospitable, especially if you arrive by night flight, they will do the best to speed up the checking formalities. Rooms are bright, cozy with complimentary fruits, some coffee, tea and water... Worth mentioning Hilton's unforgettable breakfast. Looks like the have the best chef in the Restaurants. As well, it is good for various conferences and workshops, they have skilled technical staff who is very supportive.

Full disclosure: I didn't stay at the Hilton. I'm staying in Dushanbe for 6 weeks and I went to the Hilton for a drink and dinner. I was surprised by the comparative dowdiness of it for the prices they charge (my hotel is a full 50 dollars less a night and much spiffier - although it doesn't have a bar). The receptionist guys were just kind of hanging around chatting, the signage hasn't been changed since it was the Sheraton and mentions the Sheraton by name, and if you glance behind the bar you'll see a bunch of personal crap lying around and general disorganization. The "business center" was also just in a corner at the back of the bar. I'm sure the rooms are lovely, but from the ground floor perspective, I'd say you can do better for less in Dushanbe.
