I visited Zylan in January for dinner at Brew lounge with my family. Chaminda was the one who served us suggesting the best food that we should try in their restaurant. Perfect customer care and really living the meaning of customer care as a Sri Lankan. Really appreciate his service and the level of knowledge on their menu. He offered some customizations which is a bit rare to see in Sri Lankan restaurants.
Food was superb and ambience was really nice. It’s a very private place where you could relax and calmly enjoy your food without getting disturbed.

Zylan is a boutique hotel in Colombo 7 and a delightful place to stay in the best and leafiest part of town and walking distance from many restaurants and sights. The rooms are well furnished and ours included a lounge area and also terrace. The building is a spacious and beautifully furnished villa with a huge open living areas and serene courtyards with the rooms surrounding it off a mezzanine floor. The staff are superb and the food wonderful, both breakfast downstairs, and also dinner at the fantastic Zen restaurant on the roof. Highly highly recommended!

I visited Zylan Luxury Villa with friends and as I entered I was very impressed with the contemporary interior design of this place (totally instagram worthy). Their menu had a good range of choices to select from and the food was delicious and the portion was quite large. Prices are very reasonable considering the size of the portion.
Tuan greeted us when we entered the restaurant and him and his team was very courteous. Keep up the good work!
It’s an excellent place to conduct one to one business meetings and a great home away from home if you wish to take your laptop grab a bite and coffee and spend a quiet morning / evening there.
Will definitely visit again!

booked for a birthday party for 8 adults and 5 kids. Sanjeewa who took the reservation promised that the pool can be used by kids when we inquired multiple times. However, on the day of the party The manager on duty came up to us after about an hour since we were there and very rudely mentioned that the pool cannot be used. We mentioned that the reservation was made in confirmation that the pool could be used by the Kids. He said NO! We then had to call Sanjeewa who accepted the reservation and confirmed pool usage. Very shockingly he denied saying that the pool could be used. We were extreamly disgusted by the staffs dishonesty and unprofessional behaviour not to mention the very rude and unpleasent manager. We had to cancel our reservation and walk out with a really sad bunch of kids and frustrated adults. The birthday was simply ruined!!!!

A big thank you to the manager Tuan and his team at Zylan who went out of their way to organize the perfect bridal shower party. From planning it out, selecting the perfect menu that suited our needs to putting together the beautiful ambience and decor, they went out of their way to make sure everything was customized to meet our needs. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to host a get together at Zylan. Great food, great staff, great ambience- perfect experience !

For those people who shy away from chain hotels and like a personal experience, Zylan Colombo is perfect. We found the hotel as a result of eating in Zen their roof top terrace Japanese Restaurant and decided to stay. The rooms are generous, bathrooms excellent but what makes the place is the charming home setting and the lovely staff. Zen is one of the best restaurants we have tried in Colombo and makes a fabulous evening setting. Small wonder its popular with the trend setters in Colombo. Breakfast is served down stairs in a wonderful peaceful setting with fountains and surrounded by greenery. Difficult to believe you are in a city centre. A hidden gem and great value.

We had 2 nights stay at this lovely boutique hotel, it was clean and very nicely presented and breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. All of the staff were friendly and polite. There is a beautiful rooftop restaurant and bar. We didnt eat there but had drinks in the evenings. We walked into the centre through the park

I had a very pleasant stay at Zylan Villa. The building is full of old Colombo charm and lovely little places to sit and enjoy the breeze coming through the open spaces. The staff were very friendly, and Anusha in particular was very helpful. A beautiful place from which to enjoy Colombo.

Loved this small boutique hotel, staff very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was very tasty and we ate in the Japanese restaurant on the rooftop which was fabulous. The location is good, it was very quiet so we all slept very well. Thoroughly recommend.
