I have stayed here twice and each time I am impressed by the sincere dedication of all staff members. I felt special, I felt at home. The hotel is organized in such a way that every corner gives one a peaceful feeling. At the same time, the rooftop bar is appreciated for its openness and music. The energy generated by the entire staff is envigorating. I truly felt at home.

We recently stayed at Colombo Court and loved every single thing about our stay. The rooms were extremely spacious with the separate sitting area and very large and comfy beds. Our kids were very excited to be delivered chocolates in the evening with the evening bed turn down service! We have been travelling in Sri Lanka for a month and the meals we ate at Colombo Court were some of the best we experienced on our whole trip. The in house hotel massages were also fantastic. We unfortunately had a 1am flight after checking out and the staff were extremely accommodating, allowing our family to use the hotel facilities after we checked out given that we had around 12 hours to kill until leaving for the airport. Our family would highly recommend staying here.

I chose Colombo Court Hotel as my quarantine hotel of choice. I stayed two days. The experience was great from the airport pickup all the way to check out.
The front desk Staff, room service was really responsive, organized and friendly.
Although there wasn’t any buffet service(due to covid) room service meals had a good selection.
Beds were comfortable and toiletries were custom made.
Wifi speed needs to be improved though.
Close Proximity to city is a major plus. Rooms were well isolated from road noise

Quarantine is never a pleasant thing but CCH's excellent staff took good care of me and helped me navigate the public health regulations properly and efficiently. The food was very good, and the staff went the extra mile in every way possible! The room was clean, the amenities were sufficient, and the hotel itself had an old manor charm that was uniquely attractive.
It's my first time traveling for an important exam. And you know how hard it could be in these times to be traveling. But through CCH's excellent service, I got to hit the ground running, so to speak, and made huge progress in my revisions while I was there under their care. I also got to work effectively while I was there because internet services were very reliable. The Mobitel SIM being sold with near unlimited free internet access at the airport had good coverage in the room where I was staying.
The sheets had a good thread count and the mattress and the pillows were all very good. Inverter air conditioning was a blessing because it was so quiet.
I am happy I found this hotel among the government approved accommodations for travelers. Even booking an Uber from the hotel to my next accommodation was not a big problem.

This was another hotel that we booked based on Lonely Planet’s Sri Lanka recommendation and another one which was of extremely high quality . Even before our stay started , the staff including Ayesha and Mohamed were responsive to all our queries . We got to this hotel quite early however the staff checked us in earlier and also gave us a room on the quieter side . We were also allowed to have a later check out which was appreciated as our flight was not until the evening . The hotel is nicely decorated and you do not get the feeling of being on a busy road . The location is ideal and we had not even realised whilst booking this . The hotel is located next to some really good restaurants and shops including Barefoot , The gallery cafe , Ceylon tea board , a shopping mall and a Keels . The hotel itself is tastefully decorated and has an aura of calmness about it . The rooms are very clean and well equipped with amenities. One of the best things we found at this hotel was their efforts to become more sustainable by doing simple things such as providing glass water bottles , wrapping towels in paper , optional room keeping . The COVID measures in this hotel were also the best we have seen in Sri Lanka . The breakfast was good and the pool is ideal to cool down in the Colombo heat . A great stay to end our travels around this beautiful island nation. We wish we could have stayed another night here . Thank you to Mohamed Razzaq and all the staff at Colombo Court for making our stay truly enjoyable .

From booking to departing from Colombo, the hotel represents a blueprint of what hospitality should be in essence: caring, dedicated, flexible, gentle and genuine. The building itself bridges 3 separate houses in a living and open space filled with green wells, pools and breathing volumes. The service team though is what makes the difference: ensuring the room is the best possible combination of view, facilities and location, always ensuring every detail has been gone through. For a boutique hotel, cleanliness and upkeep of the furniture really stand out with bespoke fittings in every room and immaculate condition maintained around the clock by passionate professionals taking pride in meticulous consistency. Mr Kamal was exemplary in ensuring the maintenance of the standards remained unfaltering through my stay. At the reception Mr Mohammed ensures always to extend a personalised welcome on visit and Mr Rifqi double check in advance on arrival time and room settings. Yet such hospitality doesn't come at a 7-star price nor superfluous pomp, it simply proceeds from genuine care.

I booked this hotel after reading good reviews but after staying in small but good hotels in locations like Marissa and Galle , we had bit expectations from this hotel. After all it has won lot of awards which was displayed at the reception. It’s March month and Sri Lanka is hot and our nightmare started once we entered in our red hot room. Room interior is good but what would you do with the interiors if the split AC installed is 20 years old. The AC was just not cooling the room. We called reception people and they sent the technician immediately. Technician did the obvious job of cleaning the filter and told us to wait for 30 minutes. He himself realised the AC is not working. But then who would convince reception people. I am writing this review sitting in hotel same hot room waiting to get cool. The hotel should be proactive considering there is no one else staying because of corona scare. We had such wonderful time at location like Mirissa, Galle and Bentota, but this hotel ruined our beautiful experience of srilanka with its horrible service. Hope this review reaches them tonight because they don’t care of guests burning in their room. Like I said above and I am stressing again, never go with looks. We did this mistake but I don’t want others to suffer. Thanks

I have discussed your feedback with the team as well and I would like to point out the following. Once you had informed the reception regarding the AC, our front office night Manager had sent a maintenance team member to look into the matter. I believe both staff members visited you as well to discuss the solution that they had in place for you. When the AC was fixed our team member had informed you that it will take 30 minutes for the room to get cool down again and as an alternative option we recommended a room change for you. However, you had clearly informed our front office night manager that you prefer the room you checked in to and the AC works fine. I believe that my team had provided a solution to your issue. Just an insight into our operations, we run daily AC checks in all 31 rooms and we make sure that everything is at 100% condition. However, due to an unavoidable circumstance, the AC in your room had a malfunction but was rectified within a few minutes. We take our loving guests' feedback and reviews very seriously and we always do our best to learn from them and make sure that no other guest has a bad experience with us. A result of this is the feedback you will see prior to yours. I would love to welcome you once again to stay with us and experience a home away from home feeling with us. I completed my 2 day quarantine with my family at CCH. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. I would to like to especially mention Amila who went out of his way to meet our needs and was always quick to respond. While there is no buffet due to covid restrictions, they had a good menu selection for the three meals. The room service is kind enough to prepare meals to our needs. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Even though the hotel is in the city, the rooms are well isolated and quiet.

Always a peace heaven when in Colombo 3, perfectly situated near to Queens road, Number 11 and Gallery café. Each room has its charm and benefit from natural light and air openings on the lush inner courtyard. Bespoke service is anticipated and unintrusive, so rare in these days of standardisation. Mohamed and Rifqi each time one step ahead of expectations! Kamal in the housekeeping team has a great attention to detail and willingness to assist. Dining depending on the weather is available by the pool or on rooftop. Fresh and prepared with care and attention to detail under Chef Clifford's oversight.

The Colombo Court Hotel offers a rare "Spend the Day" package which is a great way to unwind. Even in these anxious times,the staff, headed by the wonderful and caring Amila, took all necessary measures to make us feel protected yet free to relax and enjoy our day. A beautiful oasis in the midst of the city, quiet and calm with awesome design. A great meal, brought to the room, was a yummy treat! A quiet and chill opportunity to forget the day's bustle and stress. These venues are struggling to keep afloat but do not sacrifice any of their quality of service although it must be costing them dearly. Booking was easy and check-in and out a pleasure. Please consider making a visit here you will remeber it as a wonderful experience!

smoking is not allowed in the premises - eco-friendly- The hotel is in the corner of 2 roads -the main road and a short side road -and my guess is ,if one wishes one can go to the pavement or the quiet side road and have a smoke.
we had asked for twin beds but when we had a room change on arrival the room given had only a double bed but they offered to put in a single bed as well. enjoy your stay.
