Had dinner with family of 6 persons. First of all the table was not reserved although booked a day earlier. Nonetheless, there were many vacant tables. 1.The number of dishes were not upto the standard of a restaurant in a five star hotel. 2. The food was cool, if not cold. 3. Barbecue was served on table in minimal quantity-6 small pieces of malai boti for 6 persons. 4. Only 1 barbecue dish. 5. Service extremely poor, the waiter did not pick up used plates unless told, had to be called for drinks, again and again for bill. 6. Food was tasteless. Conclusion: not recommended to others. Try some other restaurant unless you want to be disappointed. The executive chef needs to be

The hotel itself is a lovely sight right from the entrance. Reception staff is friendly and accommodating. Check in took some extra time(due to delayed house keeping) but Mr Manmohan on reception was so co-operative and friendly that it did not really bother us. However, the rooms had shabby furniture(sofas, chairs). Carpets were worn out, discolored and awfully dirty. Duvet covers were dirty and faded. On complaining, Mr Ghazanfar from house keeping took charge of things and made sure all our issues are sorted. Obviously carpet and furniture remained there and was a source of displeasure- Breakfast in Zamana restaurant was AMAZING. too good. Staff was active, professional. Check out was quite smooth. I would like to appreciate two people in particular - Mr. Manmohan (reception) and Mr Ghazanfar (House keeping). Highly committed individuals. The hotel needs to look into rooms on 3rd floor and change furniture. They have seen good times but clearly need to be replaced now. Thanks.

Stayed 3 nights and it was brilliant. Excellent rooms, service, food, ambiance and overall quality of everything. I will always stay at this hotel whenever I travel to Islamabad. Everything was classy and oozed quality. We were able to rent their car/driver effortlessly as well when we needed it.

Serena Hotels is always seems an out of the world experience;this statement speaks about their quality of services, consistent upkeep and great taste. Breakfast is a main highlight of the hotel as they serve local and continental food here and you get to experience big variety of food. Lunch experience was ok as they had big salad and sweets section, but variety of main course was not that much up to the Mark (need to improve a bit). Ambiance is great and they have a big capacity to Cater the guests.

Serena is one of the best facilities not only in Pakistan but globally. They have best facilities, spacious rooms, quality amenities, friendly and welcoming staff. No.1 choice in Pakistan and I go there again and again. You can't ask for more starting from valet service to check in, stay, food, facilities and check out.
