Wouldn't call it a boutique hotel. But it's a class above the other guest houses in the area. Comfortable, safe and more professional - it does speak for the avari hospitality one is used to from the hotels. Rooms were clean, staff was attentive, the only thing slightly to be worked upon is a slightly more than usual limited breakfast...

The Avari Xpress is a series of guest houses dotted around Islamabad. The main property is in F-6/2, and the ancillary ones are on Aga Khan Road and in F-7. I will be cross-posting this review on the Aga Khan road property, have never stayed at the F7 property so don't know much about that. The management describes themselves as...

I stayed here with my family. I found the reservation, check-in, and stay to be quite efficient and pleasent. The daily complementary breakfast was quite basic but adequate. Cleanliness was good, as was the general service. The checkout though was a debacle. The reception personnel incorrectly noted the number of persons as well as the type of rooms (single or...

Three times I already have stayed at this property, and I start to look forward to each visit to Islamabad. The main reason I like this place is that it does feel like a home away from home rather than a large, anonymous hotel. Also, the staff are excellent and the manager is the best. Rooms are extremely large and...

The hotel is located in a recidential area and it is fairly quiete. It has about 35 rooms. Check in was very smooth and no hassle. As with most flights to Islamabad you arrive at silly hours either after midnight or so , but that was no problem at the hotel. The room was very large (room 27) and had...

I have stayed with them three times, twice in school road premises and once on main f-7 one. The one on school road has been a better experience in terms of privacy, quiet neighbourhood, staff friendliness, room comfort and spaciousness. At school road other guests were more serious and less noisy than the other one. Their breakfast soace is also...

Recently took a trip to Islamabad (9th-13th June), and i wanted a place to stay that wasn't infested with security like a prison. So i decided to stay at the Avari Xpress in F 6/2 with not very high expectations as i had seen the one on Aga Khan Road, and it looked quite terrible. Much to my surprise this...

I spent almost three weeks there in april. So I got a nice room, after the management tried first to give me the worse one , next to the reception, though I was booked from the beginning for the expensive stuff. Anyway, no hard feeling. Fair enough; It would have been nice to fill this bad room nobody wanted for...

Keeping in view the nice image I have for Avari brand this time when I made plan to visit Islamabad decided to stay in Avari hotel located on School road. However I regret my decision as the stay was nothing else other than disappointment. The room setup was odd cleaning was just an average however the biggest shock was when...
